If you enjoy games that can be beaten over the weekend or within 100 hours, BDO is not the game for you.

In all the reviews, descriptions, and Comments it is VERY Widely known that BDO is a VERY VERY long term game requiring 1000's-10's of thousands of hours of your time between AFK and in game game play to even remotly scratch the surface.

The Quality of life updates as well as (Recent) catch up mechanics provided help out tremendously but in NO way cut that time to remotly within 1000+ hours if you dont put in the time and effort into BDO you will simply quit and find another game but hey thats to be expected from people that would rather deflect arguments and try and make fun of those that have in fact put in the time and effort to enjoy BDO to the fullest.

This doesnt take a Credit Card though buying VP does help, most of this game can be done by simply playing it. So you people that cry about time and effort playing a game and that BDO is not giving you enough free stuff. Well tuff shit items like a Pen Accessories take tremendous amount of effort weather grinding for silver or life skilling it is end game content and if you dont feel like doing it then DON'T DO IT find some other way to slime through BDO.

The hard part for most will be getting the Magical Shard being it use for high end stones as well and if you look most have a +200 preorder on the black Magical stones  to make the Magical Shard

Okay, I gotta admit. You, the player, are being dense this time.

It is a free PEN, no matter how you turn it. You have the additional/extra/bonus chance at a guaranteed PEN accessory item. You have all the options in the world on how fast you wanna have it. Grind just one quest per day and have your PEN after 150 days? Go for it. Wanna accelerate the process? Grind more, you are free to go. Nobody is forcing you to grind 3 hours a day - or to grind at all if you don't bother at all!

Your logic is flawed. It is an option, not something you have to do.

I'm not gonna blame all the people trying to get the pen item for the reduced numbers of enhancement items on the marketplace. I watched two enhancement streaners yesterdsy buy 10k of each stone just because they wanted to beat the  uyout rush due to the pen accessory resource requirements. This is just the nasty of this game, your progression is basically based on that of the others if that makes sense.

BMC's drop like candy.  Just gotta know where to grind.

The cost for the guaranteed PEN is about 10 billion silver + the mats + time.  So it isn't exactly "free"...but when you compare it to normal methods (grind up 30+ billion or enhance on 10% chances), yeah it's pretty free

Lol 10 Bil can actually take some people 100+ hours of grinding to aquire. So no, it is not pretty free. It takes effort and time or IRL money to get. Yes it is much cheaper. However it still cost more effort, to get this one piece. Than it takes to become completely competitive in PvP in other MMOs.
