A sigh of relief, but still a bit apprehensive

So G-Lab patch notes had this:

"Greetings from the Black Desert Studio.
Today, we would like to talk about the basic movements and controls of classes—in particular, Archer and the classes released after him. When we were creating Archer’s basic movements, we wanted his movements to look a bit more natural, so we added a new, exclusive animation. As this animation ended up being implemented on Archer, Guardian, Hashashin, Nova, Sage, and the recently released Corsair, we received a lot of feedback saying that their movements felt frustrating to control, especially when compared to the older classes. Then the class reboot was announced, and we saw that some Adventurers were concerned that the existing classes would also be changed to be like the newer classes.

We would like to make this absolutely clear, there are no plans to change the basic movements and controls of older classes. Furthermore, we will be improving the basic movements and controls of Archer, Guardian, Hashashin, Nova, Sage, and Corsair to match the feel of the older classes. We’re currently working to prepare this patch as soon as possible and expect to release it in the Global Labs on July 22.

Truthfully, we’ve heard a great deal of feedback saying that “this class feels heavy” or “the movement delay is really cumbersome.” Looking back, we should have decided to make improvements sooner, so we would like to sincerely apologize for how late it being worked on.

We want to thank our Adventurers worldwide for always sending us such excellent feedback. We will do our best to make Black Desert the best it can be."

Many people are relieved, as am I, about this.  It is good the developers are listening to feedback and implementing changes that many, many Adventurers have been talking about for a while.  I'd like to thank PA for listening to us on this.  But I still grow worrisome.

The "Class Update" coming up, where they will be tweaking older classes has me worried.  One main reason I play BDO is specifically for the Sorceress class.  This was the first class I ever created.  First class I ever played.  First class I ever mained.  And the only class that can keep me engaged, and passionate about the game.  I still main Sorc to this day, no other class "feels" like Sorc.  And it's not only her iframes, even if that's a big part of her feel.  The way she combo's.  Her button presses during both PvE and PvP.  Everything about playing the class with your hands on a keyboard and mouse.  I find passion through doing things....I have tried rerolling a few times, to Mystic, Archer, Sage, and Striker.  I could not do it.  The other classes just....to me, don't feel "right" to play.  I always returned to Sorc because her gameplay is so unique and so fun, I love this class, just the way she is.

I just hope PA doesn't mess Sorc up, or any of the older classes.  I have spoken with a few players who main older classes and they agree that they just "feel" different to play.  The older classes were made from Daum developers -- the original company behind the "Black Desert" product.  So I remain unconfident in the new dev's capability, since new classes "feel different", IDK how to explain.  Older classes can animation cancel, need to combo more abilities, generally speaking, and feel they require more key-presses -- new classes sit in Super Armor.  Literally it.  New classes, to me, feel like they're tailoered to work on console (controller) as opposed to PC (keyboard) with how the "feel".  Add-ons are procced super easy, abilities are long, drawn out animaitons, just a diferent "feel", and that's cool -- everyone has different tastes.  This is just IMO.

PA - I kindly ask...when you get to Sorc for the update.....don't mess her up.  She's perfect as she is.

INB4 -- someone accuses me of loving Sorc because Sorc's "OP" or something.  I kindly ask that anyone who would say that, please start a thread in Sorceress section to complain about it.  This thread is about all the older classes, I can only speak on my experience, and that is Sorc, but this is speaking for all players who main older classes.

Improve them, but keep 100% of their "feel".  That's a defining feature of a class...the "feel" of playing them.  Mess with the "feel", you redefine the class, and doing so, may turn off those who love the "feel" of the class as it currently is.  Like, improve damage if needed, add protections if needed, nerf damage if needed, nerf protecttions if needed, or what have you, but keep the "feel".  Thanks for reading.

You do realize Daum = Kakao and was just the publisher right.

The game has always been developed by Pearl Abyss.
