This bug happens quite often, to reproduce it you need to simply grab the wheel and try to go forward or backwards: the ship will allow right or left turns but will refuse to move forward or backwards.

This happens independantly of presence or absence of other ships in collision range: you can perfectly get stuck when your ship is the only one in the parking area.

This is usually worked around by leaving the wheel and grabbing it back again about 3-4 times until the ship finally agrees to move but this workaround can lead to a second and consecutive bug:

Your character is now unable to leave the steering wheel and you get the message "Try again later". This second bug can only be worked around by going into character selection screen and logging in back again to your character with the ship.

I don't know if it happens with other ships than carracks as I don't remember if the bug happened already when my carrack was still a sailboat.

This bug also can occur at Port Ratt wharf.

Today it took me no less than 5 trips to the character slection screen to unstuck my ship, this is really unpleasant.

I get this bug from time to time too.. It should be a concern as well.

The only temporary fix I know is to do escape from your game menu!
