One can start to wonder that the only other mmo I can think of that has more classes than this game is Ragnarok online.
Also tree of Savior has 22. But to my knowlage Ragnarok online is fearly ballanced but then again they had sense 2003 to do balance old classes. I wish Pearl abyss took 1 long year and tired their best to balance all the classses and maybe relase 1 class per year and spend more time on that class to make it more balance on relase.
But where is the money in that new classes meaning new cosutmes and other shit to waste money on so why bother doing more work im suprised the classes even comes with skills and animations at this point. I dear to call BDO a Dress up doll game with few harvetmoon elemnts. But people seam to love it.
Here if you want to count RO classes your self
You make more money creating a large set of mediocre work than spending great deal of time perfecting current systems. New classes generate a ton of money, unlike old classes.

Godr-Ayed Thea was the leading organization of the Sages in the distant world. Founded by three young wizards, Godr-Ayed Thea sought pure knowledge of ancient elements. A particular Wizard among the three, codename Lord Red, was the wisest of all, within and outside the Godr-Ayed Thea.

Contemporary scholars, however, argue that the existence of Sages can be traces far back to the ancient times.

Knowledge was their light, calling, and treasure. Seeking knowledge and truth became quite literally the most noble cause of their lives.
The community was divided into several schools throughout the history.
The Godr-Ayed Thea, specializing in ancient elements, was the most powerful and respected school of Sages.
There was also another school of thought focused on the earth and lightning elements. The school was called Labreve, and it only consisted of witches, female Sages.
I think the class's preawak will be two spheres like Wiz/witch awakening

I think it's just a strategy. You're wrong that fixing old don't generate income. Perfecting the game does. But you're right that in the short run, making something new is stronger. That won't hold forever though. The advantage creating many classes is that you get a better overview for later. They're already in place so they're easy to change. That's good for overall balance in the long run. Because if you want to balance for group pvp, and you want asymmetrical power levels, you will want a very good look at the whole you want to make and not get stuck on details. If you spend a lot of time balancing the classes right now, with say 10 more big character ideas you have: Once you put those guys in, you're right back to rebalancing everything - yes, everything - again. That's a major waste of effort. But if you have the whole first, the fine tuning of things comes much easier.
That's the reason, I think.

Their seasons gimmick is turning into a joke. They're trying to pump out flawed classes ASAP without testing them first.
Apparently some truth to that - just look at all the multiple changes to Nova - every update Nova changes are 3/4 of the entire list. Meanwhile the Shai Campfire got a 15 min duration boost...

To be quite honest the new classes have been really well made. Even Nova is pretty darn good. It does seem like PA have a good class testing team, the only issue is you can't really see how it performs until live hence why after classes are released there is usually three or four patches of reasonably significant changes to their kit.
Either way, I'd prefer to try a new caster playstyle. We have too many melee classes as it is compared.

Yeah, It's possible. I just hope they can come up with unique abilites not just throwing around rocks. Don't let us down PA. We have been waiting for a mage class for so long!
