So here we go again with PA releasing an "Event" that just hands out raw enhancing materials. My original post: found here

Instead of PA just buffing gathering... they just want to say "Fuck you" to everyone who wants to gather. 

And dont give me that bullshit saying; "you can get these pouches from gathering too!" the rate at which you get these items from gathering is 1/10th of the rate from combat. 

Dear PA: 

Just buff gathering please, and stop doing these stupid "events".

I'd like to see how well this game would fare if they got rid of the daily loging rewards and freebies they give out all the time. On one hand, the game would be better off, on another, people login solely for the dailies even if they logout right after. Giving things out only causes inflation and devalues whatever class it's intended to be obtained by be it combat, crafting or gathering. Get rid of freebies and let us, the players determine the prices we want to sell our goods on the central market please.

Welfare events that just handout all these items are spoiling the game.

Nobody wants to gather for hards and sharps because the silver is POOR compared to grinding. Nobody wants to deal with a market that WONT CHANGE THE PRICE OF THE MATS IN HIGH DEMAND.
