Yes please!! +1
I just made a support ticket about this and was directed to look here. It definitely seems as if they're aware of the want for this. Let me ditch Windows!!
Steam deck support or better said linux support would be much appreciated. Please
+1 for the Linux support !
I'd switch to linux on my gaming rig in a literally 10min if they'd introduce that for BDO.
Looks like they "may be" working on it. I started it using the latest Proton Experiential and was able to get to the launcher screen albeit it was all blacked out. So hopefully they're trying to go in for Linux support.
Hopefully that is the case since my GPU pass-through set up just got borked after a system update. Pretty sure it has to do with libvirt and systemd interaction.
We need this! Playing BDO on the go would be amazing, also amazing for afking since the low power cost of the steam deck.
+1 For Linux support!
I haven't been playing for over a year since I stopped dual booting. I don't want to use Windows, and it will be nice if PA could finally overcome the fear they have for Linux. Don't worry PA cheaters won't magically appear it's not that scary. There's plenty of cheaters already and they are using a Windows OS, the statistics will remain the same. The majority of the games I play, I can now play on Linux (even those that use EAC). Why is Black Desert (PA) still fighting against it's own community and their wishes. I believe we pay enough money for fancy pixels, please get a hold of yourselves.
Thank you
Nope pls nothing Linux support. This is every 10%from playerbase.
I would also really like to see DXVK being supported on Windows as well, as for some games it can provide CPU optimizations to rendering paths compared to DX11.
Yes please.
