The new RBF looks promising.  Heedun did a little review of its current state in GLab, and while rough around the edges, its looking to be a really fun mode to break the monotonus grind.  Completely agree, the game should reward "fun" (quotations because its a subjective word).

I hope the devs can remove the negative stigma surrounding BDO when it comes to "fun".  The meme-motto that I hear people say, when speaking of BDO = "NO FUN ALLOWED".  Evidenced by the lacking rewards when it comes to "fun" modes / activities.  Like current RBF, since it's the closest thing we have to "fun" (again, there are quotation marks, I'm trying to describe a certain thing) being underwhelming as far as rewards go.  Or Shadow Arena -- Yoinked.  Node Wars?  You break even, even if you win (could've just farmed for those hours to make the same or more silver).  Altar of Blood?  Savage Rift?  Garmoth RBF?  Thrown at a wall, hope it would stick, it didn't, and since left abandoned.  That's the current track record BDO has when it comes to "fun", it's not really good.

Yes, farming mobs can be fun, I enjoy it.  It's my main source of income in the game.  Same goes for lifeskilling the game is about the grind and there are multiple ways to do it.  I enojy Node Wars and Siege.  I don't necessarily want BDO to diminish the value or the grind at all, it's one of the biggest reasons I love this game -- it's a game you play for the long haul.  Progressing after earning it, or the huge dopamine trip from succeeding an enhancement feels great. 

But I'd love the devs to really consider adding things in the game that break up this monotony, and it's clear by now that the best way to do it is to 1) Develop the mode / activity well (this includes further dev time post-release after the players critique it) AND 2) Make it rewarding.  This is the way, in BDO, to make "fun" content.  Really looking forward to the new Valencia RBF.  If it's good, it'll be even more incentive to gear up / play more to perform better in it.  Little rough around the edges, but it looks like it's coming along pretty well.  Here's Heedun's take on it so far:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGQfVidnfTs&t=2s

Not sure why your getting downvoted I have been saying forever how BDO needs to create more things to do  to earn monet. Aos, Shadow arena, rbf, Altar of Blood, tower defense mode with rifles, group dungeons etc all should make similar money to grinding per hour. But they don't solare has no purpose and is a balance nightmare, Shadow arena was removed which many people were upset about. Altar of Blood is not rewarding enough to run the dungeons are not rewarding from what I've been told and the list goes on with content not being rewarding enough and this is the group content ....

solo content is rewarding for your time but this is supposed to be an mmo.

I'm about to go try new world again on Friday since they got an exp event going on and they made a lot of good quality of life changes  apparently and that game has not shown any signs of being pay to win yet. Crafting system is great can always play with buddies to get stuff  done. Only thing new world lacks is a more interesting combat. It has dungeons it has world events and lifeskills feeling pretty good. Oh its also missing mounts hopefully not to far off in the future it gets them.

I will prob still log into BDO for daily grind and such but ya this game still has work to do on its multi-player experience because I'm sorry the pvp was the multi-player part and it's balance is in the worst state its ever been in.

Yeah, agreed on all your points.  There's an upcoming class balance coming soon, I don't expect it to fix the balance issues, there's bound to be, like 1-3 OP AF classes and 1-3 notably underpowered classes, like we've always had.  1-3, or so, maybe a bit more on each side of the spectrum.

BDO class balance, I've noticed that there's, like 1-3 (or so) super OP classes and a few super weak classes.  Recently, Awakening Musa and Succession Zerk were really strong and Succ Maewha and Tamer were on the weaker side of the spectrum.  When I think about it, to consider that there's over 20 classes, and 1-3 or so are OP and 1-3 or so are UP, and everyone else is right around the middle, that's not terrible, IMO.  Some classes that are in the middle are very, very strong in the right PVP scenario, take Succession Ranger, for example.  This class is an absolute DPS BEAST in group PVP. 

It's not what I'd personally consider "terrible" or "unplayable", but it's not what I'd consider "great", either.  IDK if I'd even call it "decent".  But if I can give some credit to the devs, is that balance changes are still being done.  They could just leave it high and dry, but we get a class balance change every so often which shakes up the META and I can step back and appreciate that at least some effort is done.  Hopefully we get better balance in the future, and not only with classes, but things like stat balance as well.

GL in New World, hope you enjoy it.  Me, personally, I'm waiting for Ashes of Creation.  Not putting my eggs into the basket, but it's the only MMO other than BDO that I want to try ATM.  EDIT:  And thanks lol, there's a few people here who will insta-dislike just because they see a name they don't like.  Hopefully we get more rewarding and fun content too, apart from the normal grind.
