I agree with most of what's written in the topic but:

-T10s shouldn't be a trainers content only since they are not sellable and horses are part of the game, either pvp or pve. Anyone should be able to make one with the same rate (as long as it's unsellable). I'd make mastery and lifeskill level more relevant when making T9s which are sellable, this would make sense. Trainers make money with t9s etc. and grinders are gonna buy them.

-T10 Materials: I believe it's fair that every T10 uses the same materials. T9s had different materials because there was a sort of RNG involved, but when attempting a T10 you need two specific T9s so I don't get why materials should be different. Mythical feather states in the description that it's a feather from an Arduanatt, so I agree that maybe they should make a different 'feather' for T10 Dinè, but I don't get why fern roots are wrong. It's always been a general item from a Weekly quest that has never been arduanatt-specific. It was foreseable that any T10 would have used the fern root. There would not be any point in making 3 different weeklies for 3 different materials with the same goal: catching a random horse.

I can't see any unfairness in keeping roots for T10 Dinè as well. If you didn't like the T10 Arduanatt you could still keep farming them 'just in case' and if you used them for T10 Arduanatt attempts, well, you used them.

''Mythical Dine should NOT use ferns. People who already got their Mythical Arduanatt have been saving ferns and they have a headstart.''

And? They didn't get the ferns for free, they spent their time to get them even after they got their Arduanatt. It's not a race about who gets the T10 first.

I can't believe that PA listening to the players after all.
Improved the quest objectives of the [Skilled] to [Guru] quests "No Worries for the Prepared" that can be accepted from Wapra in Stonetail Horse Ranch.
- [Skilled] No Worries for the Prepared: Catch a Tier 2 Wild Horse → Catch a Tier 2 or lower wild horse
- [Professional] No Worries for the Prepared: Catch a Tier 2 Wild Horse → Catch a Tier 2 or lower wild horse
- [Artisan] No Worries for the Prepared: Catch a Tier 3 Wild Horse → Catch a Tier 3 or lower wild horse
- [Master] No Worries for the Prepared: Catch a Tier 4 Wild Horse → Catch a Tier 4 or lower wild horse
- [Guru] No Worries for the Prepared: Catch a Tier 5 Wild Horse → Catch a Tier 5 or lower wild horse

They did it backwards tho.  It should not have been Tier 2 or lower, Tier 3 or lower and so on.  It should have been Tier 2 or HIGHER, Tier 3 or HIGHER and so on.

No. It's best. This is mediah quest = horses t1-t3, t4 and t5 are rare.

I have never done these quests precisely because I will not waste time riding to drieghan to catch t4 horse.

why the hell should skilled/professional trainer's have a way easier quest than gurus which worked hard for getting their lifeskill rank?

It's amazing how they did it and it's awesome PA finally listened and adressed one of the many issues the training lifeskill has.

Agreed. The whole point was to make it easier for higher trainers. It sucked for people who had to ride all the way to duvencrune and back. Especially if you had just come back to work, reset is in 15 minutes, and you don't have the luxury to run to heidel to capture a horse, just because you bothered to put hours into the lifeskill.
Genuinely good update, but this was the bare minimum. There's still a lot of bare minimums PA has to achieve and I hope they do.

Salamandar just hates BDO, he constantly tries to shit on every suggestion.  Don't take what he says as a serious attempt at discourse.

As for the Original Topic.  The current system is fine, but they need a way to hammer the attempts instead of time gating it if they are going to keep it.  What you suggested is a bit much, rather they should make something that is repeatable one after the other that isn't like the Mythical Feather where it "can" be gotten from gathering Lakario roots.  Maybe they could add it where if you imperial a Courser you get fern root T1&T2 gives 1, T3 gives 2, T4 gives 4, T5 gives 8, T6 gives 16, T7 gives 32, T8 gives 64.  Maybe they could add Fern root (and the new Dine materials) to the Imperial Training Deliver Notice.  They need to do something because locking it behind a daily and require 2 weeks between attempts without a fail stack is dogshit.

The current system is not fine. At all. After T8, it doesn't matter at all if you're Beginner 1 or Guru 100 in the profession, as far as awakenings go. Even on the topic of training, I have 2 T9s that I, as a M19 trainer, couldn't get all skills on and have worse stats than those of a guildie who got his first T8 courser without coupons, all skills and a top 10% stats before reaching A1. Subsequently, he never failed to get all skills on the other many T9s he awakened.

So, yeah, nah. Fern roots aren't the only issue.
