Don't worry, mostlikely spots will eb even less contested as time goes. (At least untill PA starts saving money by closing channels.)

The game is still very active, perhaps not at the very top and best grinding spots. BDO is far from a dead game. The population is still very healthy for this type of a game.

Only ~5% of the playerbase actually plays BDO. The rest log in, dick around, make excuses why they suck and then go AFK. It's the way it has always been.

just stop playing this game. I only log in to get the rewards, get my imp trades in and do dark rifts. Then I log off. I have 80b saved up for a BS PEN but I need another 100 for a 2nd one and then i have to get 3 more accs to pen aswell. Nah i will just log in get the free shit they throw at us and hope its enough for an upgrade.
For me rn its not worth my time playing bdo.

Correct. Most of the BDO content gives no profit, and people don't want to grind mobs for 10 years and encounter toxic open pvp all the time.
