This is (at least for me) a highly annoying thing when grinding for a treasure item such as the infinite pot or map pieces.
My character suddenly bursts out a cheer, my heart sinks because I get a brief 0.1 second hope I get the treasure item piece, but then it turns out to be a kagtum submission ring or something similarly useless.
- Please remove cheering for anything marketable with a market value less than 80mil (kagtum submission rings, eye of the ruins rings, sicil necklaces, hards/sharps..).
- Also, please remove cheering for non-marketable items that are generally considered unvaluable (great marni stone boxes etc).
- Less imporant, but would still be nice: Please remove cheering for duplicate treasure items (for example: if I find a Tukar map piece while I already have a Tukar map piece in inventory/storage)
A cheer from your character should be reserved for rare, wanted items.
I want to be excited for my newly obtained loot when my character cheers.
Yes, rework it by removing this pointless feature.
I would like to be able to set the cheer animation for anything I wanted. At one point you cheered for blackstones, now some people look at those things as trash loot. Any new item that has never been looted before that isn't trash loot you should cheer for, once you cheer for an item it should go on the item drop menu with a switchblock that says cheer on/off. Put that switchblock on a 2nd tab in the item drop.
Allow the players to set what gets cheered for and what does not get cheered for.
i would sugguest: remove cheer form blue items, gathering is annoying when you cheer for every single sharp or hard splitter.

+1
I like the feature because it gets my hopes up that it's something amazing especially when it's announced to the whole world that I collected some super rare treasure..... worth 1.7million silver. Wait, what?
