You hit target, directly hit it, your skill land on it, and there is nothing, completelly nothing, your skill went into the void. You know why ? Because target not where its on your screen, because of how superior mouse movement that already move him away server side but you won't know it untill you already used all your skills.
Thank's PA for adding miss, now its perfectly clear that this is not even miss, skill simple do not hit target.
And please don't start that crap with desync, mouse movement is what causing desync in fist place, and if its was desync its would be happen to everyone, but no, its only happens to "special" players.
Remove mouse movement.
But ... everyone knows about it, since the game premiere. Skills in BDO don't have an unlimited range and also many skills requires "manual" aiming at the mob (or player) in order to hit it. Whenever I don't see "critical", I consider it a missed hit.
This is one of the many reasons why pvp in bdo does not exist.
Which is why I am always amused when I see players attacking the world boss with a skill within half a meter, from 3 meters.
No shit, it was already know by anyone who actually understand how the combat works, that abilities not landing is due to poor servers not syncronizing player positions correctly...
yeah then its time to get it out, 2 birds with one shot, we nerf zerkers as well
Dafuq?
All 4 of you have no idea what you're talking about xD
The 'miss' target effect is shown when your hit was mitigated due to evasion. If you properly missed the target, as could happen due to mousemove-d mobility skills, you would not receive any message at all.
Which makes sense; how could the server give feedback on an action that, according to it anyway, never took place (your skill hitting the target).
In any case, mousemovement is simply adding the ability to turn skills in ways they werent designed, but in the vast majority of cases is required for the class to be relevant. Yes, even the currently overpowered zerker. Removing mm from the game would seriously mess up the already broken balance situation.
I agree with OP. Is so blatent that because all top streamers and pvp players using mouse movement, I wonder why.
