No thanks, gender lock is there for a reason. All classes are unique, have their unique origins, background. They are not just generic classes as much as you think. Have you ever tried to look in the adventure guide and check the lore of each class? Yes, each class has its own lore, its own unique story behind. Although many of them could get improvements, they still all have their uniqueness, and arent all just generic.

I might accept it if you say that when there is an equal amount of alternatives on both sides. I'll remind you that there are 17 female to 9 male.
The reason some people are complaining is because not everyone likes to role-play as the other gender in an MMORPG.

Equal options of alternatives for both players that like to play as male and those as female can exist, even if where it won't be detrimental to the lore, a male option is provided for a few of the currently gender locked female classes to balance things out.
Gender lock can be at a better state when I don't feel like I'm being forced to play one of the genders instead of the other just because of the lack of alternatives for the gender I prefer to play with, especially when it's in its current state.

I'm having a lot of friends that I'm trying to get to try the game who refuse to with the way the gender lock currently is being one of their main reasons.

I might accept gender lock with entertaining lore but not when it's being designed with a double standard.

A successful MMO is one that caters to as many audiences as it possibly can, the more the players the higher is its survival rate.

I remember when people were asking for PVE only servers, and this sentiment was mocked and those people where mocked and berated. becuase thats not how the game is and you should accept it.

the classes are unique characters so, no its part of the game. Accept it.

With that mindset of yours no feedback nor any suggestions can be given by the players for the improvement of the game. How about we delete this forum as we just have to accept everything in the game and neither discuss nor suggest anything cause you'd like us all to just accept things the way they are and leave PA oblivious of what their game's community thinks and wants in their game. Is that what you want?

If that's what you opine then guess what, my opinion is that this forum exists for the community to discuss matters that they like and dislike about the game and You will have to just accept that it exists and works that way.

And thats exactly what pvpers did, they attacked, berated, told people thats not how the game is and to shut up and sit down. So I think its funny. And made the comment and comparison.

I wan't more male classes make it 50/50 in gender OR this is more time consuming and cost more money but make all classes not genderlock then every body wins, It's a damn MMO not a gatcha game....But sadly let's be real they arn't going to listen at all they never do,But I will still try...just I'm tired of this....

Fun fact - Only 8 of the 50 states in the US have more men than women.  Females out populate the males in the US.  The top state with a ratio of 109 men per 100 women is Alaska.  For anyone seeking the state with the least males, Alabama with 93:100.  Since the origin of the game is Korea, I looked those up on CIA World Factbook.  I found men out number women in South Korea and women out number men in North Korea.  

Meanwhile there are no males or females in the game Black Desert... only 3D mesh. LOL

But just for the sake of the argument, these statistics, if they were true, don't matter. It's not like we have the entire 7+ billion population of people playing the game, including those grannies.

What matters is the audience PA are trying to entertain and attract towards the game and I hope they realize that there is a significant population of gamers out there that prefer to play with male characters in an MMORPG, myself and some of my friends included.

I also think by now the game has more than enough female classes to please the gamers looking for that, it's about time we get a male class next by now, if there are more classes coming in the future.
