"overly sexualized outfits"

Well, that's the appeal of high fantasy games isn't it?

Both men and women are overly sexualized to appeal to both male and female audiences. It's a art style and genre in itself. Personally, I like both the oversexualization of men and women in this game although I do think some dresses would look better without the certain cuts they chose for more modest ones. Not because it would be less sexual, but because it would look better. It's not that I play for eye candy but eye candy is a big draw and it always has been.

The game is probably 60-40 split between males and females and you would release more female classes as a result. It only makes sense. The next class will be Wukong which is male.

They know their audience as much as we would like to believe otherwise. Their marketing team is really good because despite how many times the game nearly died, they managed to bring it back like a money printing pheonix.

There are too many classes already, they should just expand the character builder so we can just look like whatever class we want with a bit of character tinkering. The sliders are too limiting.

I agree since 2016 when I started it was balanced and I never agreed with this gender lock, this game would he number 1 if they added that gesture at least people can enjoy it more to that aspect.

is the same with hit points. But that'd another topic. Perhaps we should all make some support tickets and ask them if they can please reevaluate this option, anything is possible.

Especially us players who spend tons of money on this game, smh  they should listen . Or make it like before, one male class, one female class.  Not 3 females classes in a few month window cmon seriously.

Useless content like that abyss hub + female classes only... there are the signs that the ship is taking water.

Not to mention the new Ratt port thats looks so low buget compared to old one made many years ago.

With the upcoming release of the Drakania class, a female one, it soon will be 9 male classes opposing 15 female classes. It used to be somewhat balanced, with every female class having a sort-of (strongly "sort-of") male equivalent class - but now there will be more than 50% more female classes than male ones.

I never been a fan of genderlocked classes, especially in MMO Roleplaying Games, where you ought to create your own adventurer and roleplay anyone you would like - and BDO certainly advertises itself as the one sandbox MMORPG out there with endless options to play it.

Okay, but what bugs me more than that, is that - in addition to having to play a female character, which I could tolerate to some degree - is the overly sexualized representation of the female outfits

When I first saw Drakania and her dragon warrior theme, I was hyped. But then I see saw her armor. For the love of god, don't make her outfits too exposed; don't make me play a damn dragon warrior with kickass abilities, a kickass swords and kickass moves, all the while wearing damned fishnet stockings and high-heels and a so-called "armor" which barely covers 5% of her skin. I am so sick of the lost potential of the outfits for the female classes due to this unnecessary nudity.

Take Valkyrie as another example. I totally dig her concept: an armored warrior lady with shield and a lance. But then again... do I really want to run around half naked with a bigass chest armor, but exposed cleavage and thighs? Does it make any sense to me?

No, it simply doesn't. If I wanna get horny, I'd go somewhere else. I do not enjoy the look of overly exposed women in games where it's completely unnecessary and breaks the immersion.

I'd simply like to have the option to have atleast some male equivalents. I mean, with that way, people who like their female classes that way, can have it their way, but I can too with my male classes. Both would be happy and content, no troubles for anyone.

You're playing the wrong game if you don't want "exposed women", bud. You have a great selection of a dozen ugloid western MMOs to get off to, please go to one of them and leave the Korean MMO alone, thanks, the game is clearly not for you. You sound like a typical western snowflake """"gamer"""" straight out of Twitter who's trying to impose your own agenda of how "gaming should be and look like in 2022 for modern sensibilities" (lol). Don't you think you creatures destroyed enough gaming franchises in the west already? Are you moving on to eastern MMOs now?

You can go wherever else you want "to get horny", I don't care, literally just fuck off from one of the last games which allows for beautiful and sexualized women, lmao. It's obvious that the developers agree with what I'm saying, seeing as your little rant was posted around Drakania release and they released two more female chars right after, stay mad I suppose.

"I do not enjoy the look of overly exposed women in games where it's completely unnecessary and breaks the immersion."

Then, again, you are in the wrong game. OvErLY ExPoSeD WoMEn is something which korean MMOs do, if it triggers you I, again, suggest an ugloid western MMO. WoW will be more up your alley. My immersion is just fine seeing beautiful, scantily clad women around. (: I don't know what level of delusion this is, but it's anything but "unnecessary", clearly you are very confused about the type of game you're playing. It's a VERY good thing that seemingly no one cares that "YOU" don't enjoy the look of exposed women. The overwhelming majority, apparently, as per PA's statistics does enjoy exactly this. The CHEEK of coming here and sprouting this bullshit as if you own the place and the game should change it's entire aesthetic from catering to the hundreds of thousands who love it just so it appeases your fragile self is, frankly, revolting.

And keep in mind, my post would have been a lot more civil and understanding, but you had to start banging out of your ass about sexualized women in BDO and other Twitter nonsense, that won't fly here.

We desperately need a new warrior archetype class. We've now got three or four similarly flavored Asian babes.
