Hello!
I have a problem with this quest.
I need to gain knowledge about 2 NPCs on this island, Garania and the Empress, but as far as I researched this knowledge can be gained only after finishing 5-day long daily quests.
Somehow I managed to do 4 of 5, but the 5th gives me huge problems.
The final crab has enormous amount of HPs, it literally kills me in 2 or 3 hits, and it spawns ads that help him, so I cannot even run to the crab to land a single hit.
Some people says its a "group content" and the quest should be done in a group, but I cannot find any groups because nobody wants to do it.
Is there other way to get Knowledge about above mentioned NPCs without killing the final crab? It looks like it may take a whole day to kill it: respawn hoping I wont get 1-shotted in place, run to melee range hoping I wont get 1-shotted on my way, then land a single hit, die, repeat.

Hello again, I think I need to write in this thread again.

I managed to find people to finish the quest and get the knowledge I was looking for.

Then, few days ago, at login screen notification I got a 'hint' that Papua Crinea was re-done so it is soloable now.

If somebody could confirm this, it would be great.

And also, PA if you read this, I really appreciate the job you done on this matter :) You're nice company with good people and you treat your customers as humans, which is rare nowadays. You reminded me that 'customer care' still exists and still a thing in this day and age. Thank you!

So PA got a complain from one single player (not even a whale), about distant rarely visited part of their game, with tbh insignificant on big scale rewards I dare to assume not many players care to visit and complete.

They went through all the digital bureaucracy, created a task and assigned it to coders, managers approved, and the fix gone live.

I'm actually very, very impressed on how customer care worked in this particular case.

And it wasnt even a bug, everything was working 'as intended', but they still fixed it to adapt to actual reality where not much groups or even lone players wander those distant parts of the map.

This is huge, compared to some other games, where game-breaking bugs exist for years and not even acknowledged by company, not to say fixed.

We can argue about and discuss BDO mechanics and PA's business model and motives long time, but they treat their product and customers' experience with love, and its beyong any doubt.
