I want this +1 Energy for completing Ecology of Valencia section for my lifeskilling.
Basilisk Statue is only entry left.
Its a group mob (3+), or solo for very high AP characters.
Third day in a row I form a group, I advertise, I encourage people to keep waiting for more people so we have enough dps to dps the statue hard enough after red message appears so the statue doesnt reset itself.
And third day in a row my groupmates get the knowledge, ofter highest grade "S", while I dont get anything, not even a "C" to get that 1 Energy and leave this place and never return.
How this is possible speaking in probabilities?
And how this is fair?
Typical chance for knowledge is 2,5%. So you need knowledge pets eg. 5 pets t3 = 75% chance more. So then you have ... not even 5% chance for knowledge from typical mob. Also you need do last hit because only last hit count as chance for knowledge.
So conclusion: now you can cry.

You misinterpret the meaning of my post, nobody's crying.
I'm talking about bad game design decisions, broken mechanics, and extremely low chain of probabilities that untimately lead to frustration of customers.
Group Finder announcement works only on this particular server, which is one of 40+, this mean chances to find groupmates lowered to 1/40 of what it could be;
I have to announce in global chat (blue color), which may annoy people and get me blocked.
The group motivation is somewhat a problem too (for me): when people get what they came for, there is no reason for them to remain in group and help me get what I want, so they leave and I cannot do anything to make them stay, so I have to restart announcements.
And somehow they get knowledge faster than me, its not like I just stand there not dps'ing the statue, but during 3 days I could get at least a "C", such low chances of not getting anything at all are somewhat suspiciously low and this makes me think something wrong either with my character, account, or the game.
Yes, I do have +Knowledge pets, I do use them during fights, I eat Simple Cron Meal and I drink Weekie elixir, and still nothing.

These zones were supposed to be party 3 just for the season.
These lazy beasts don't want to change that and now there are problems.
New update will increases knowledge drop ratio bonus but requires 10,000 points, the lack of knowledge from this statue is a big loss.

Or Moghulis boss - almost 300 scrolls so 300 days!!!
I will never have knowledge such a Gyfin because gaining knowledge in party zones is practically impossible because:
- nobody wants to play there
- it is because of this last hit that you may never have it.
Back to this statue: I farmed a little bit before the zone broke down by turning it into party 3 and I only have B so I understand your frustration.
I didnt even know you could kill the statues anymore. I've been grinding at the same statue for a full hour once just to test it and it didnt lose any noticeable amount of health. I do already have A grade from before the spot was changed into a group spot so I can see the statues health.

At present, this statue is an unkillable solo. PA also added dps meter to the game. After the third wave, if the statue doesn't take enough damage within 10 seconds, it resets and the mob waves reappear.
Same sh. at Turo Boss, you have time limit to kill Turo officers, if you fail, the boss will not appear, which is the only sensible source of ember (as long as a 40% chance for ember from boss makes sense).
They don't understand that the slower classes are unplayable at this point in such areas.
It's absurdly silly but also funny how much easier it is to play solo at Mirumok 240 AP o Stars End 260 AP than Basilisk 190 AP or Turo 270.
And players with AP 260+ play Sulfur 210 AP because only the trash per hour counts.
