You'll actually just go out your way to derail a thread because you can't prove your right. You'll go out your way to start a fight with someone you refuse to admit is right in one thread in another completely different thread cause you refuse to admit there right. God I see why EU players hate other EU players you EU players are a canceer to your selves glade your on EU server were I don't have to see you on NA.

In both topics I believe you provided false information to the community, therefore I provided correct information based on facts and reason.

Additionally, feel free to assume my home region all you please but I don't think insults are necessary.

It would be interesting to see what the South Korean feedback looks like to contrast this with.

EDIT:  Also i admit i know very little about this issue, i have heard about this over the years, but it's still a bit of a foriegn topic to me.  I came from much older MMO's where this wasn't really a thing, and having higher fps just meant a player was playing the game in it's most optimal state.

All right I'm going to explain some stuff.

First point :
You can't blame a player to use a 120+ Hz monitor instead of a 75 Hz one. If a player decides to use a good monitor, it's his choice but ironically, he'll be automatically called a "fps abuser" from you because you are jealous and sturbborn. FPS is from your monitor first, if you have a 75 Hz screen you'll be at 75, a 165Hz -> 165, 360 Hz (yes you can get screen like that) -> 360. After that it's from your PC setup.
A lot of players on BDO are playing with a bad computer and in remaster. A lot of them are complaining to be at 30 FPS in game because they are in remaster with all effects on.

A lot of those players refuse to play in low mode to help their computers to follow the game because they are stubborn and stupid.
I saw a lot of players said : "I prefer to play in remaster than low mode even if my pc is bad. If I want to play an ugly game, I just have to go on World of Warcraft".
Also, some of them don't want to invest in a good PC + monitor because "it's just a game and a PC". Then, if you think like that, it's your problem, and not the problem of other players. You didn't wanted to invest in a good step ? And now you are crying ? Not our problem? We don't have to suffer for you. Stop blaming players and calling them FPS abuser.

Conclusion :
Get a new PC or just play in low mode and stop crying. You can't blame a player to use a good PC and good monitor when you, you refuse to get a better setup and still play in remaster with all effects on. BDO is like other games, it's asking good PC and not pentium 4 with a gtx 460 and all of this with Philips 107S monitor.

Second point :
Pearl Abyss can't cap the game at 60 FPS again. And the reason is stupid. If you have a 60 Hz monitor, it will be ok for your monitor because your monitor is build to support 60 FPS. It's the same for higher monitor, there are build to be at 120+ Hz and not under.
But if you force them to be under their , you'll get problem to follow the game correctly because your monitor will be at 120 FPS but the game at 60.
Pearl Abyss already put the game at 60 FPS and that was painful for players with more than 60 FPS. It was full desync. That's why they don't want to put it back. Even if they put the game at 120 Hz, it's going to be desync for players with a 120+Hz monitor.

Conclusion :
If you want to see a fix of FPS, you have to understand that Pearl Abyss needs to rework the whole graphic engine and makes the game less depend. And it's going to take a lot of time. You don't rework something like that in 2 days.
But even though they improve it, it'll never fix it correctly because you can't totally fix this.

I don't care about the argument, but let me correct some misinformation:

First point: Players bypass monitor limit by going fullscreen. This has been common and easily searchable.

Second point: ....What? Your monitor isn't going to magically ruin your experience when you play a game that's below your monitor's framerate. Easiest way to test this is to run a youtube video, all of which are 60 fps or lower. Did your 120hz+ monitor make the video unwatchable?

And they can definitely completely fix it when they rework their engine, unless you're insinuating games that cap their frames at 60 doesn't exist or is completely unplayable.

You bypass if you disable Vsync.. it's the same think for every games. Disable it and put you in full screen.
You are all surprised since 2018 to see that. It's tired to see you complaining when you can do it too. Do it like them and stop cry. That's it. If you don't want, don't complain.

Cool, but don't say FPS is from your monitor and base your entire argument on it when you know yourself that it's bypassable because spoiler alert, you're wrong and don't be surprised when you're called out on it.

I checked it, it's dead. They don't care about them either :D

they can very well lock the game engine itself at 60 fps. It's entirely possible. But is it desirable?

Honestly as Valk, having less than 110-144 fps greatly reduces my fluidity of movement and literaly the possibly to cancel some skill.

at 60 fps I can not perform, everything is played at less that 0.1 sec.
All classes that are extremely fast-paced will be directly affected and will be completely miserable to play.

Also i have a Radeon card,  The Radeon software  V-Sync removal dont work exclusivly for BDO. There is only at nvidia where it is possible to unlock the fps.

hard lock the game at 120 frame will allow the fast-paced class to be playable.  its would be largely the best compromise.

If Pearls Abyss decides to make a move about it.

The last time they tried to lock FPS, the game just didn't work and they had to do a hotfix really quick. Though, that was a cap at 60fps, might be different at 120....

Also, curious what Radeon card you have? I had an AMD card, and was able to unlock FPS, with what I believe was the amd weird vsync alternative setting.
