Think of it this way. However many years you're going to enjoy the skin for. Even if its for the next 5-10 years. Its a very cheap price for the years of enjoyment you will get out of it, if you would calculate how much it costs per day that you use it. Where I live the price of a carrack skin is one night out for two people to a nice restaurant. Seems nothing imo for a permanent addition to your account and to support the game you like. 

Oh, I do support the game but I refuse to justify ridiculous pricing and what's more important selling advantage for real money!
