If you mean the login rewards for value packs etc, those are applied as soon as you receive them.

Its kinda not good way to apply them instantly (i'm personally don't want VP and Kama tree) , but its very good  vs "expert players" who roleplaying NPC's and just exist while doing nothing in game, because now they can't store those rewards for later

It would be better to avoid such a mistake : mentioning that the rewards are in the safe when they are activated upon logging is indeed their mistake.

I didn't pay attention as I read the announcement first, but this is clearly misleading,  you're right. 

I believe the Pearl Abyss plan is to rack up the inventory space on the unsuspecting non-VP users.  When they fill up those last extra +16 slots at the end, expect a lot of new players in chat asking why their inventories are over full.  For the new player who might be reading this;

If you don't plan to continue with VP after the event ends, make sure ALL your storage and character inventories have more than 16 slots empty at the bottom.  Items will get "stuck" and you will spend the better part of a day freeing up space.  You will not lose items, you just will not be able to use those items, until they get physically moved.

As for PA developers; I too don't care much for this distribution method.  I would have prefered the simple item I could store for a rainy day.  I know you make your well deserved income by selling these items to us, expect new players not to be impressed by the inventory logistic nightmare that follows.

Currently, new and returning players already receive a Value Pack for 2 weeks when they start the game, so this issue already exists. The extra time should not be impactful on that. It may affect players who have not used a VP in a long time though.

That's the whole point. It's meant to encourage players into playing the game, not save things for later. They're a business, not a charity. I don't understand what you mean entirely but I benefit greatly from all of the buffs as an active player and not playing AFK simulator.
