I don't know what your brother did, but it doesn't work for me nor many other people. There is a whole video about it from a few years back. 

Whether it works for AMD or not. I think it's interesting idea to try ask AMD and Nvidia for them to add some cap how high FPS you go for this game. People still could instal older version of drivers or what not. Or maybe find another way, but it be a good start to tackle this issue. Anything that makes it harder to enable the high FPS will likely result in less players using it.

the devs need to figure it out and fix it. If the issue is baked hard into the games custom engine maybe they should start working on a newer engine to update the games feel.  

BDO remastered +  the plus being fixes for this issue removing click to move, and fixing whatever else with the screen shot thing .......

It's not about whos fault it is. But they might help PA out with a simple FPS cap for Nvidia Control Panel and such. Right now you can put slider for BDO up to 1000 FPS. What if they lock it at 100 FPS max etc.

Again do you see any other game with this issue? It's all bdo I doubt Nvidia would go through the hassle of changing something on thier control panel software. It makes zero sense to do from a cost stand point. The issue is BDO and how it's programmed not Nvidia control panel. I can unlock frame rate for any game I want with control panel It's not exploiting . The game should  NEVER be programmed to give more damage or extreme advantages because of frame rate.

In any other game that exists you raise your fps for gameplay fluidity and a slightly improved latency for everything.

You don't need to do that to play BDO. You just want unfair advantage over other players, by exploiting the flaw in game design. And you are clearly aware of what you doing. That is against fair play, there is a word for it to, it's called cheating. And just because it's allowed doesn't make it any less cheating. But that's not end of world, you can just not use it, unless you shooting for top ranks it won't matter anyway.

Yeah given the PvP is meme in this game anyway it doesn't matter much.

Remember the time when this appaling crap of a map that is Valencia was released for RBF (great map as a city for pve but the worst thing you could think of as map for pvp), and a single player could give huge frame drops to the entire party just by trying to enter into a building ?

That's how well their game is programmed. QA at its best.

The only thing they excell at is fluff, nice animations and graphics. Don't ask them to have stable code and clean level building and designs, KR devs just can't.

On that note I remember when a player datamined and deconstructed some maps on Vindictus, which also has an action gameplay. The game functions like an instanced dungeon runner  and said maps were quite heavy to load and gave FPS drops for what were seemingly simple arenas / segments. He realized that they were built totally nonsensically. I saw what he extracted and it was astonishing. Something like, they did put "change zone" trigger zones where the players were supposed to go to actually change zone and load the next segment of the map, but also disposed them on a column on something like a 30-40 meters height, til the very top of the box, places where no player were ever supposed to go (we don't fly in this game). Why ? Nobody knows. Of course, loading all that useless crap took ressources on the system.

I wouldn't be surprized at all if a lot of stuff in BDO was more or less built the same way, moreover when we know that the engine they use was originally built in less than 2 years.

Caught the Freeze Shadow Stomp on record, link in main post. Makes me really curious what if you freeze frame at the exact moment of landing attack damage. Would server keep repeating the action as with the Shadow Stomp leading to infinite huge massive DPS?
