I see there is an event called the Magnus starting in a few days. When last I played, I was working on a season character and I prefer the regular. Is there any reason to keep the last season character around? I don't care for the way season gear is manditory also everyone was saying they are better or easier to level. I got to level +50 but then so did my regular just grinding out mobs. The regular character had much better choices in my opinion.
Next I was looking at the mounts. I see none are offered in the cash store. According to all the online tutorials I have read and watched; you need to buy them from the horse market, catch them with that awful mini game, or buy low quality horses at the stable to train them. However now I am wondering why we need horses at all, if they plan to add a fast travel system to this game? I took notice that my character could outrun some horses. A friend told me the race horse is pretty fast, costs 30 million silver, doesn't consume food, comes with drift, and will not lose stamina. I see horse training is a skill achevement but I am practical about most things. Is a mount really needed in light of the new Magnus?
I see the is a large division among players between life skilling, PvP, and mob grinding. I don't know where I will fit into these categories but I am a very casual player. Other games I have joined guilds and return weeks or months later to find either the guild disbanded or they kicked me for not having my fingers glued to the keyboard 24/7. I plan to get more involved with the game over the winter months ahead but I am more like a weekend warrior and less like the soldier of fortune. In your opinion, where would I fit in Black Desert?
Read guides on how to gear. Season character only needed for the free stuff, you claim it and it will be normal character anyway at the end. Also lvl50 is nothing literately like 10minute leech or less.
You never "needed" a horse even before, in bdo mounts are way too annoing and characters sprint fast.
Obviously a highend horse helps travelling, especially if u swipe for the clestial flute.
