First you forced to remove Hunting Clothes from inventory now you forcing to remove Gathering one, or else you forcing this notification crap.

Especially since this is no better equipment. Game only checks values between chest but life skills clothes also occupy slot for a helmet, boots and gloves.
My def gear give me 371 dp, manos hunter tri only 266 dp. And it is absurd and meaningless. Why? Hunter wild animlas can deal enormous damage. Protection provided by the hunter clothes is too weak, which makes its use pointless. It should be changed. Life skill clothes should only use chest slot.

Easy Fix.
Remove 200dp from Gathering and Hunter Clothes
Add a 1/1 Set-Buff for Gathering and Hunter clothes that add 200 DP.
Sheet Dp will be less = no Notification.
DP Value is the same.
