Liana's Tool Bag is an epic fail. You can't see any wear on our tools, and the bag alone weighs more than all the tools combined.
I see this item as an epic win. I love being able to chop trees, harvest herbs or butcher meat without having to switch gear. I also love how it saves inventory space since my gatherer character is also my AFK fisher.
I just wish they let us add the Riding Crops to it.

I am not calling a fail, just a silly item they introduce and will never bother to progress. As I stated before, bad for hunts and good if you are just running all over looking for anything to gather. My problem is; I am the type who plans farming trips to go get sap from a certain type of tree. I don't run about looking for random gathers. I could see a new player running around in the mountains east of Velia stocking up on herbs and minerals. But when all you need to take is two or three items, the tool bag quickly becomes pointless.

Liana's Tool Bag
Here is yet another nonsense item they gave us. Not that I don't appreciate FREE, they don't sell it anywhere in the game or allow it to be crafted. It is obtained by doing a weird Q&A session with any of Liana's clones found through-out the game. But only one per family. It is pretty good, if you are just gathering items at random and have no set type in mind. You can swap from mining to tree cutting without going into your inventory.
However...
Recently I was literally in the middle of nowhere hunting. I have Liana's Tool Bag with a magic butcher knife. When my rifle needs repair, I can visually see it. Better check the knife too... oops can't do that without going ALL that distance back to town. Thus when you are out gathering and run into a used up tool in the bag, you are just SOL. Of course you can carry backups in your inventory, but then that defeats the whole purpose of this silly item. It would seem like my character should be aware of the durability of these items when in the field.
That's because the bag is intended for Mastery tools, which are repairable.
For other tools, you'd need to carry spares anyway, so you are not saving inventory. It would be nice if it let you load in a dozen or so magical tools and go through them as you gather.
I do wish we could get more than one per family, though. It would be nice to have it for all my alts.
