I just installed this game a hile ago and tried that Lehk class with pendulum as it looked fun.
So I am totaly lost in this tbh. Is it just me or I need to have A4 sheet of paper with all damn combos written on it or remeber all that in order to play?
So far game looks ok apart horrendus UI and insane number of combos.
I mean, if game gets even more complicated later, i will uninstall it right away.
Help confused newbie pls.
Later on if you decide to get involved with PvP you'll also learn what skills are dangerous to use in what situations, which are safe/protected, which have the best damage and which have the most useful CCs.
Long story short - don't panic and just play the game! Learning will happen naturally, trying to force it through researching pre-defined optimal combos can stunt your understanding of the class - you can optimise later once you have a good foundation. So just play, explore, and enjoy for now!
Knowing everything is boring - that's the reason games like WoW Classic were rubbish, because everyone already knew everything and all the content in the game was trivial!
Enjoy your ignorance, discovery is fun!
Not really, lahn is an easy class yet effective.
I also start to play witch aswell to try different class but I am not too happy with it tbh. Even more I am in trial period, so I presume I need to sub after that. Not sure if I want to continue, but thanks for all help .
There is no real "sub" to the game. What you may be referring to is your value pack running out.
A "value pack" is an item that acts as a sub in BDO.
Just start attacking some mobs with button mashing or whatever other method you feel like, eventually you will realize what buttons and combinations use what skills and combos and which skills do good damage and which don't.
If this is the only part of BDO you feel at odds with then I strongly suggest to keep playing and till you get used to it.
For example if you want lots of content with mechanics which require you to stay focused and think and you also like group content but you don't like PvP then you probably won't enjoy BDO because there's quite limited pve group content which requires more than a minimal brain activity.
So I strongly suggest you to keep playing. I'm certain you will start to understand and get used to the skills and combos.

I dont understand this sentiment... 😅 if you want simple games with no depth to them, this isnt the game for you.
Maybe flipping a coin is more your type of game. Or roblox, though that might also be too complex...?
