Do you know that there is a large population that just Life Skills? They don't want to PVX / PVP at all....? You know?
Anyway, lets look on the bright side: I just hope that there will be a better MMO game in the market that will make PVX blend Life Skills together a lot better than BDO, like waaaay better! I still have high hopes that something will arrive in the future. For now, I will play this game and wait. I am sure there will be something better! One of the Ambassador (??) said that the game engine is at its limit. 

There's an even larger population of players happily doing a little of everything in BDO. That's the idea.

What I said was that "expanding the map and merging servers to make it one massive server with factions" isn't possible without load screens. Because that technology doesn't exist. It's just too much for servers / net code to handle, and bdo's netcode already has issues with too many players on the server / in one spot. Not that the game is going to die in a month as some people have been predicting since 6 years ago.

New World has several serious problems.

1. Not much content.

2. Artificially increased difficulty to extend game and force you to play with party.

3. And the biggest problem: assigning character permanently to a channel with a player limit of 2500. But at the same time there are more players registered to the channel so instead of playing you wait in line. So you have a choice: wait in line, and have trouble collecting resources (and crafting is very important in this game) or play on an empty channel and have trouble finding people to play with. There is one more problem. Game has 3 factions that control cities and areas. This gives bonuses so in a short time the entire channel belongs to one faction that has everything and the others have nothing and player cannot change faction to the one that has the advantage. So if you chose unlucky, then playing on a given channel no longer makes sense for you. It is also impossible to recapture zones easily, because in order to declare war, you must first gain influence in a given area, and that means doing lots of quests for the faction.

The most popular games in the world right now are PvP oriented.
