I've received an in-game mail that says:
Greetings Adventurer,
With Black Friday just around the corner, we've sent you a 20% Discount Coupon to your Coupon Book in the Pearl Shop (F3) if you want to treat yourself to something special.
However, there is no coupon when I check the Pearl Shop. So what gives here?

Hey there!
The coupon is not in the mail, but instead in your coupon book. If you open up the Pearl Shop (F3) in the upper right you will see a little button that is illuminating. That is the coupon book where the coupon is place!

That's my point. There is no coupon in the coupon book. At all.

This morning the coupon is in the book but my partner's account still has a mail but no coupon for her. I'll get her to post here in a bit.

Yes, I'm looking at my coupon book right now. No coupon and I have the same mail in my mailbox. I'll bet there are others with the same issue.
