I'm just venting my feelings on how messed up the music is.

Does anyone think that the way the music is currently set up helps with immersion and fits the mood of the area/situtation?  Especially in combat?

no i dont think that. I tunred off the music since like 1 year. this game is not about immersion anymore.

I used to really like the music in bdo, I remember having 2 seperate conversations with guildies about how good it is

I turned it off when I started grinding Hystria because I thought it would be funny to loop camel by camel at max volume for the rest of the compass grind. It was.

But I just kind of never turned it back on after that. So its been a while, and Im not really sure what they changed in the music but I turned it back on a couple of days ago..

The music is still really good, but it often feels out of place. Like instead of the music being crafted to complement the zone, its just a playlist

but I was on that papu otter island that I cant spell last night, doing Krog donkey gear dailies, running around as a Papu and I stopped to think at some point "this music is perfect"

not 1 second later it faded out and swapped to something that felt far less fitting

so I turned game music back off and listened to gaming president memes 😬
