The group content I want is trading. Tired of merching items I never will need that other people can use, like courser mats. Why can't we trade! There has to be a way by now.

I'd also like open world pvp to occur somewhere that is MEANINGFUL. That would be the group content I want, even tho pvp is imbalanced due to gear, would still be fun.

I also would like to see group crafting, like combining a group of people to make a work shop, make the work shop index-able and then maybe even give a little discount against CM :D Let the economy happen.

The lack of player to player trading is why there is not a massive constant gold seller spam in BDO like there is on WoW, FF14, ESO, and every other MMO with player to Player trading.

It would be lovely.

The very unfortunate reality is PA continually lauds and embraces their understanding of community whenever they have a press release/talk etc., whilst arguably most of us that play this game (and probably the majority of the mmo player base in general) completely understand that it is entirely just publicity spin. Their actual actions and released content in game expose they lack the very understanding they so proudly express through various media. 

To be fair the developers are likely the most out-of-touch and pig-headed group in the entire genre. Do not expect anything significant from them that is sound, reasonable or logical. One just has to look at their track record of consistency (lack there of) and meandering long term vision and goals for the game.

Black Desert at the moment is a standout MMO in terms of wasted potential. It is the kind of game you get when seemingly unexperienced developers 'learn as they go' with no clear long term goal that they actually commit to like a professional organisation. There is no visible accountability at PA, and it shows through their product/s. They come across often like kids playing at being adults. There is such a schism between their words and their actual actions, it's laughable even thinking about it. 

I sincerely wish all this wasn't true, but the evidence is just so overwhelming.

Would any of you all like it if there was more of the matchmaking system in the game where a player can queue to join a group of random players into an instance of something like dungeons or PvP arenas?

You mean like the dungeons queue that already exists? Or AoS, that should exist and people have been begging on multiple platforms for it to finally return again?
Ye, thats not a new idea, and its in game already. But dungeons groups where anyone can join without certain qualifications is generally not adopted well by players that know what theyre doing and dont want to carry "dead weight", while a large part of the playerbase also likely doesnt even know it exists. AoS has random queues too and has seen large success, that dwindled down due to no incentives / being punished for playing it.

More of it is what I mean.

About the carry, what about it requiring the required AP / DP in order to queue for such instances?
And what do you think of instanced scenarios that can be queued for where it takes place in an already existing zone's area where grinding happens until the boss arrives or is reached, once the boss is slain, the scenario ends and everyone can get their loot and leave the instance? It won't require much work from BDO's team since the assets and resources are already available and it would just be reorganized.

1. AP/DP is sadly only one part of the qualifications for the dungeon. I personally would rather have someone with 50 less GS who knows how to communicate and has some info about the mechanics, than someone who is a gear lord but doesnt understand what "stop at 50% HP" means. But since these are qualitative, not quantitative, its hard to measure or gate this. Sadly, BDOs dungeons only work if all members do the mechanics correctly, so even one single person thats inattentive will make it impossible for the whole 5 man group to complete a dungeon. While someone whos undergeared simply needs a bit more attention from the healers / med kits, but as long as they manage the mechanics, the dungeon still works

2. Also already exists with Murrowak. However, as with most BDO content, the lack of adaption is directly related to the low rewards compared to high effort. And thats what is shared for most group activities. The rewards are simply not competitive, so people rather do solo stuff. The easiest fix for having more group content in the game is rewarding everything we already have appropriately, and you would be suprised how things change.

However, as this does not seem to fit PAs design philosophy of making group content "not required", aka too profitable, I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening for a while.

issue with good group content is that people have fun and are less inclined to press hotkey for cash shop.

The most annoying for me in group content is waiting for others. We have a meeting at 8 pm we start content at 9 because that guy had to do something, second one had to take a dog for a walk etc etc. and it happends every time. The main issue are people who dont respect others. Thats why after my 15 years story in MMOs I gave up group content with virtual friends and play via matchmaking or party finder with players who want do something here and now.

whatever your personal reasons for hating that in mmoprgs are, it is simply sad that mmorpg DOESNT have a decent amount of that type of content.

Probably because 90 % of playerbase start solo. People create guilds or other kind of groups later. Its not only BDO, Lost Ark is the same, New World the same, only Albion Online is hardly focused around playing in group but there Devs also start forming more and more solo content, because of player's demand.
