Why is PA doing this? Gathering, Alchemy and Farming will be even less profitable now that everyone is automatically passively generating the materials that you previously needed to get through farming/gathering and dumping them on the market at the lowest price.
Imperial alchemy boxes are never going to be able to compete with cooking boxes as long as (vendor bought) pickled vegetable materials are as easy and cheap as they are, and in the quantities that cooking materials are produced.
If lack of fruits and traces on the market were an issue, then why couldn't it be done by making gathering/farming more worthwhile? or create the farming mastery benefits that are presently missing?
