I understand how cool you are for pointing out its been in the game \o/ , but the point is it wasn't a common problem until now, so Now it needs fixing. You've made 92 posts crying about things to change in the game ranging from removing SA entirely (posted multiple times) , removing SA Q block (i see why you're in here negatively now), asking for DK buffs (lol), less RBF rewards (tf?), displaying cc counters/cap because you are too unfocused to keep track of ccs, and plenty of other failed posts... You'd think someone whos so unhappy with the game would only encourage positive changes. It's never too late to change my friend, just like it's never too late for BDO to fix a problem! LOVE AND PEACE! <3
Why did you remove part where i posted 3-4 threads about FPS exploiting and mouse movement that directly allowing to do what you asking to fix ? I've done that for several years, where was you back then ?

The reason this game plays so well is because most of the actions can be manipulated client side. That means the game can be easily exploited (speed hacking, fps drops etc) but that is the price you pay to have an actual combat action MMO. It just so happens actions are tied to FPS in their engine as well which makes the 'exploit' more accessible. If you want every action to be verified on the server you can play a tab target or super laggy ass game.
I do not think impacting gameplay experience for 99% of players not exploiting this is the answer. The game already has enough "cannot do this action", like activating a loot scroll when slightly moving. I would rather the devs warn, suspend or punish players that abuse it. It could be achieved by monitoring 'map', 'print screen' actions on the server and see which players are spamming these in combat with other players.
Thank you for commenting <3 I totally understand where you're coming from and I agree it is unfortunate to change things that players are NOT exploiting, I am in no way trying to argue, I just want to ask if you are really considering my original solution. Is being locked into the map screen for even 1 second actually going to ever be annoying other than when accidentally hitting "M"? or even 3 seconds (which imo is the MAX required to fix this situation)? I'm willing to spend a lot of time considering possible solutions and I don't want to waste time on bad ideas, so I'm just curious if I'm missing something such as any other reasons that 1-3 second locking on map opening would be a problem, because if so then I wouldn't want to waste more time thinking I found the best solution and would look more towards a better idea. I agree it would be nice to officially list it as exploiting and make it punishable but I just don't see PA being flooded with false reports from people reporting possible abusers when in reality they were just getting hit with normal (extremely common) fps drops that cause the same effect unintentionally. Which, is also my assumption as to why PA has been silent on the issue.

remove the ghillie comment and maybe we can get a double on this post with some upvotes on the escape topic, a lot of us agree with that one. but ghillie on arsha... im sure most would disagree with that one, it would piss off too many people who spent money on ghillies FOR using on arsha so I can't see PA/Players agreeing there. Personally I couldn't care either way, I rarely remember I even have a ghillie.

Excited to see this bug get patched. Too easy to do, too tempting to use, and *almost* too impactful to not use. It's busted. Even a temp band-aid would be welcomed here while they look for a more permanent fix.

Adding a cooldown while opening the map won't fix anything. People can do it better with printscreen instead of using the map. The engine is the problem.
