Hello! I've always been a more PVP focused player, but I must say Boss Blitz is a TON of fun and very entertaining! I was having a great time streaming it and re-doing fights for record times until I learned that the completion time rankings are reset weekly, this was a MASSIVE disappointment.

So far everyone I have spoken to seems to agree that the ladder should be for permanent records, OR keep the existing weekly rankings and ADD a permanent ranking. I found out when looking through other streams and wondering why NOBODY was streaming Boss Blitz, and then when I heard the rankings reset weekly, I understood why people weren't competing.

I have played BDO for almost 4 years now and I would say if Boss Blitz had permanent rankings for us to push for fun it would be on par with Arena of Solare as the two best additions to the game for players who are seeking something fun and exciting to spend their time on and ESPECIALLY for streaming gameplay. 

If a completely permanent ranking is too much, perhaps a seasonal ranking to take place inbetween Arena of Solare (AOS) seasons to shift on and off with would be acceptable. A couple months for more PVE focused players to compete in Boss Blitz followed by a couple months for PVP focused players to compete in Arena of Solare, so there is a more consistent source of competition for competitive players of both PVP and PVE playerbases.

I definitely wouldn't want to think I had a world's best record only to find out someone else 3 months ago did better than me. Weekly resets defeat the point of the rankings, which is competition.

100% agree with this post. We just need the "all time best" ranking of each class.

I have to agree, I am pleasantly suprised they were able to make some very challenging PVE content while also keeping it fun. The only downside as you mentioned there is no incentive for the competition because the leaderboards reset every week. Not only that, the rewards for completing c7 do not seem worth the time investment currently, but that may change with c10 and more lightstones.

I would like to see a seasonal best ranking for each class that will give rewards end of season similar to solare for best times. The weekly rewards would stay as they are now, this would just be supplemental. This seems like a no brainer.

"No incentive for competition" would be if someone was able to perpetually monopolize the rankings.

A separate all-time ranking list, sure, but that would be its only reward.  The weekly boards and rewards are for weekly participants and their efforts that week.  

That is what you mean, right?  Or are we going to recommend grind spot leader boards with additional rewards too?

As for "but I didn't understand", that's the usual new-content thing, no big deal, nothing to get disappointed about.  The rules were all there from the start. Misundertandings happen.

Personally, not another larger "competition", please.  It's a counterpoint that should be offered.

People already compete for highest trash per hour at grind spots in their own way through vod uploads/garmoth.com, not for the rewards but just for the competition and self satisfaction. I didn't mention rewards for the top rankings, I wouldn't be opposed to that but I know many of us would simply like our record times to be saved to add a little excitement and satisfaction for our hard work at trying our hardest. I understand why the system of weekly efforts being tracked is interesting, but like Yber mentioned it seems underwhelming to see your name at #1 with the possibility of countless people previously having faster times clearly devaluing the achievment. After the first week it is impossible for anyone to argue they have the fastest record time without showing proof of the previous week(s).

I pushed for the best time on the first 5 on week 1, got 2 #3s and everything else in the top 10.  I planned on making a serious run at 1st on the DK boards only to find out that everything reset.  I did my 5 attempts and stopped.  Last week I did Bari probably 100 times on each of the tiers trying to get into the top 3.  I was extra motivated when I found out the score I set on Thursday had been broken Friday, so I spent most of the day Saturday with the intent on getting rank 1.  Had I  known from the start that it was just going to go poof, I woulda gone outside and touched grass.

Yes a separate ranking for all time best record times on each difficulty would be a very good addition as well as increasing the rewards especially for calamity 7 since currently it doesn't feel rewarding at all. I would also like to see an increase to the limit of the bosses a player can complete weekly at the very very least to 9 so that we can fight each boss on at least one difficulty. Ideally the limit would be lifted completely. Nobody I heard from enjoys timegated nature of the boss blitz so far.

100% agreed. We need a permanent history for clears so they can be referenced and looked back on. Just a simple hall of fame. I'm pushing c7 clears and making sure I keep #1 in any clears I decide to do for the week. But the second I realized it's all just gonna be gone next reset anyway I packed up and told myself I'm not taking it seriously till something like this makes its way into the game. Which is a damn shame cause I actually love one on one boss content.
