As the title states, extracting your Garmoth is extremely impractical if you've got maxed Caphras in your weapons. You lose upwards of 5 billion in tax to first extract your Caphras before the Garmoth. I'm not exactly sure why the cost to do this is so high. If you just want to mess around on a class that uses a Pocket watch for example, and you need to remove one of them from your main's gear you'd have to pay that absurd fee and then attempt to buy the Caphras back which on NA is usually a struggle. 

Maybe it'd be possible for the developers to look into allowing you to remove the Garmoth regardless of Caphras being present in the weapon.

This is unnecessarily punishing. With the addition of the new gloves being able to swap between evasion and DR it doesn't make sense that you can't freely swap your garmoth heart on your kutum and nouver.

I've never extracted a garmoth so I had no idea that was even a thing.

Definitely sounds awful if you have c14+ weapon.

Not sure I understand. I extract my garmoth all the time from my weapon and it doesn't affect my caphras. Is it when you have a certain amount?

Same here. As the last Caphras event just ended, I probably need to wait a long time to replace my Kutum's heart.
