Yes lol it would help tremendously, for everyone, though it's a shot in the dark.

This wouldn't hurt anyone so why not? Let's keep it permanent. 

Except creating one more gap between old and new players and frustrating players on break.

Even if it would be kinda cool because you become stronger for free, there is no good reason to keep this buff permanent.

then add a new core adventure log to get more than +1 AP, +1 DP.

you will feel the gains after the new migration settles.

I have never cared much about the new player catch-up mechanic manifesto. If you are a new player, you gotta lots of things to worry about, work your way up to it like we all did. This being added to an adventure log isn't a bad thing. Everyone gets it, so non-issue.
