In the previous system, I traded with the help of a miniature elephant, with 16 slots for items, trading between vendors was smooth, the time spent gave an effective increase in experience. Currently, with the empty runs of the elephant, it is additionally only able to carry 3 items at a time, the runs take place with 13 free slots. Additionally, transporting 3 items from Glish to Velia only gives you 5% progress at Skilled 8. I'd rather lose purchased items than waste more time, you've ruined a lifeskill that used to be fun. Am I the only one dissatisfied?
I think most people didn't like it. I don't know if feelings improved over time.... no one talks about it anymore. I hated the changes because it impacted my fishing and I greatly disagreed with restriciting all major trade, including fish to one trader in each city.
I for one think they struck out with this update. I was planning on getting involved in trading after they updated the prices, but the jacked up the whole system. As you said, this lifeskill is ruined.
They really need to fix the weight on the elephant and camel to be able to handle more trade items like they did with the wagons.
It feels like a huge oversight since the elephant is meant to be a trading mount.
Elephant and camel are essentially useless now for trading. Their best uses (for trading) was desert trading. With the current system, you would have to deliver items from Tariff or Stonetail Ranch as the closest to Valencia City, who the hell wants to do that on an elephant or camel. Then trading the other way around, Arehaza to Altinova??? No thanks.
This trade system is completely busted.
