I am unlike most players, for my Valkyrie is Succession.  It is somewhat a niche mode of playing that never gets buffs, or nerfs for that matter.  She is fun to use, but does not seem to be OP as Awakening.  So, when I read the patch notes this morning, I felt pleasantly surprised to see that she was being noticed and Severing Light was going to become more useful and given a Prime version.  This would put her on par with Succession Warrior, who's comparative skill is awesome.  Then I tried it out.  Severing Light used to be a repeatable attack.  Now it has a 5-6 seconds cooldown.  So, rather than using a skill that is useful in restoring her health and spiritual power, it's a one shot attack, meant to fit in with others.  It is no longer a stand alone skill with a particular use.  Thankfully, I will not have to change my grind routine, as I did not use this skill often.  Still, it was a great combatative rechrrge skill, other than using specific healing and recharge only skills.

So, like Archer's Marked Bloom, Valkyrie's Severing Light was not done any favors.  Succession Valkyrie was not given any help today.

PA, thanks for sticking with your MO: You really know how to let me down.  With each update, you make my experience playing this game less enjoyable.  I dare not hope for anything good from you anymore.

Thanks for nothing, PA.  I want this game to be awesome and succeed, but...... man, I don't know why you mess with our playstyles like this.  Adding Severing Light to a combo won't do us any favors.  She's still about as meh as ever, compared to the current meta. 

Oh well.  Succession Nova: Succession Valkyrie isn't showing you up anytime soon.
