I want to leave, how do I do that?

You have to complete the quest line. I was also super annoyed that they tied this to a quest. I had jumped down. To see the new stuff and didn't realize big vell was spawning soon. Not like i would've got a heart anyways but I was in the same situation. Seems like an oversight tbh forcing someone to quest to leave.

Which quest is that, [Dragon King and Daughter]? Strangely enough, it's waypoint is on LOLM. But I cant exit with map. That required this quest to complete to be able to use map.

Nevermind, I'll just jump ouuta gate and swim for two hours. Not the first time.

UPD. NOPE! Pirate Battleship killed me. Since when they attack swimmers?

Jeez what a miserable failure this "event", why did I even start it...

By the way, respawn brings me to Oquilla Eye, so now I'm either swim 2 hours back to Velia and waste 17M silver to Magnus to LOLM to finish this "quest", or wait somebody picks me up, or just close the account altogether because I dont see myself wasting time and money on this miserable piece of garbage. Another dream horse wont be enough to compensate THIS customer's experience.

There's a ferry from OE to Iliya, and another from Iliya to Velia.  Maybe 30 minutes riding and waiting. And another ferry from OE to LOML if you want, that one's a 45 minute ride.

I was doing the long swim from Ratt back to the mainland maybe three years ago, had to swim a lot of the way underwater to avoid those battleships.  They've always aggroed swimmers.  They'll even attack people on the ferry.

But yeah, there should be an option to just return regardless of quest status.

To get back to the sea palace, there's an entrance west of Velia.  The turtles on the Velia docks will show you the way.

I pressed "Return to closest town" being a stone throw away from Nampo, but the game decided Oquilla Eye is closer.

It was only option because resurrecting at place without stamina will lead to just another death.

This whole event thing is terrible and such low-grade low-quality I cannot even begin to describe. This is first time I met a company who openly despices its customers, there were others but those are outta market long ago.

Opened ticket is still unanswered.

Ok bye. You were looking for reasons to hate the game and be angry, because nothing that happened to you here warrants this level of anger and vitriol.

FYI, you get a free shark suit with the code. Better swim speed. You could have used the tools provided to actually go anywhere. You could have just done the quests. There's a few that use it. You could have avoided the ships when you went up, since you can actually see where they are simply by looking up. You get a lot of rewards from the event, some of which are rare, unique, or expensive. I don't know how that fits into your preconception the company despises it's customers.
