It's not "rigged", but it is STUPID.  Bad luck streaks cause people to PERMANENTLY LOSE reward seals that they could have otherwise spent on goodies.  This is extremely poor taste for an event, it ruins the entire experience.  So I go to the Sea Palace, see the sights and sounds, get excited for all the stuff I can earn - and then lose it all because an event we are encouraged to join that even shows up in the special quests list fails numerous times in a row and eats up all our seals, making us waste hours waiting for the next opportunity to lose more seals.  Imagine if half your Black Spirit's Safe just deleted yourself because you wanted to complete a quest.  It's a terrible decision.  There should never be a free goodies event that deletes your progress if you attempt to participate.  We already suffer enough of this pain the "real" game with enhancing failures setting us back 20+ billion silver and weeks/months of grinding progress at a time.  The events are supposed to offload some of that stress and frustration.  Instead this event has just left me even more angry.  I feel bad for the designers who spent time and effort creating the Sea Palace visuals when the end result is a bad taste in my mouth and a desire not to participate anymore.

Wait, next event is even more interesting.

In order to earn a chance (!) to win a free Maid, we must invest 1CP into a node, then send a worker to mine up the bunny treasure - this process is "based on a set probability", then we open a bunny treasure with another chance and only then we can earn a free maid.

So my lodging in Velia is all bought and there is no option to buy more.

I have 395CP, earning another takes some time and silver, buy enough raw materials, then cook whole night, then dump Witch Delicacy.

You know, I have a respect for myself to jump into this hot owen, re-assign my worker, spam meals, submit WDs, invest in a node, blah blah, and earn a hard or sharp in the end. And it's nobody's fault, its only bad luck.

You only need to fail 47 times for that.

That is so sad.  How much time does it take to get enough resources to fail that often?
