Carracks need an update to increase their weight capacity. Since large ships now have 100 cabin space and barter routes are higher quantity, the original weight limit of Carracks doesn't make sense anymore.

For example, a max weight Volante has a cap of 20,800 weight using +10 blue gear, max weight gold sea crystal, and cash shop costume. 100 Cabin room means 10 sailors, so a minimum of 2000 weight. So now you have a little less than 18,800 remaining. A single T2->T3 run at 1:3 trade is 27,000 weight. A single T3->T4 trade is 20,000 weight. 

As you can see, there's no real way to do most of these trades without frequent back and forth or overloading. I know that some of the other carracks have a bit more weight, but even then I'd argue that the additional sailor slots and bartering changes should have resulted in a Carrack weight buff across the board.

I can't get my head around why PA only increased the bartering exchanges resulting into more LT required, but then didn't increase boat LT...

I would suggest that they cut the weight of barter items in half across the board.

Agreed, a couple of options here, increase the weight limit of current ships, give us a new tier of carracks to upgrade to, or reduce item weight.

I've been on a break and haven't done bartering in a while, recently wanted to get back to it, saw the item numbers and got excited, then I loaded my Volante, looked at its weight and went back to dry land.

The current chanegs make no sense as it is.

I'd love to see a weight increase. moreso for transporting trade crates. I do not think a epheria cog with a horse should be better than a +10 geared carrack with a ebenruth's nol.

also, can we get a feature to hide the costume of carrack pearl shop items?

if we get these 2 things, im buying a pearl skin and pushing for carrack. right now its like i dont like the towers on the back of the carrack at all. and if carrack is far slower than cog... why would i push carrack and buy the pearl skin?

I want the stats of the pearl skin, but i just want to be able to hide it like mounts hide their costumes you know? all costumes should be hideable

you could be looking at over 200k weight with crates, though.  might just make more sense to allow the horse to go on carracks.

We need more ship weight capacity. Won't be bad if the weight of the bartering goods is halved too. I don't see why we have so much limitations when it comes to bartering. It's really boring and max of 1.25m(ifaik) parley is limiting enogh. We have refresh CDs too and limit there as well. Why can't we be just done with it faster and have time for other activities? I can you please explain! What am I missing? I don't have much time now but I may try tidy up this reply later.

Volante Carrack User here with full Blue Gear +10 and Cash Shop Overlay.

I must say that after PA introduced additional 5 sailor slots (50 cabins) bartering really got exhausting if you want to get max stats with all sailors on board and barter at the same time.

Since 19600 LT is all that Volante gets (without P2W pets and Weight Sea Crystal) we substract:
- 2000 LT for 10x innocent sailors,
- 10 LT for the blue gear (Plating 2 LT, Figurehead 2,50 LT, Cannons 3 LT, Sails 1,50 LT and Sea Crystal 1 LT)

And we have 17590 LT < 18 000 LT

18 000 LT is a minimum required for doing double Hakoven or 3x T5 runs.

But after the patch we cannot do that anymore without swapping a Speed Crystal to a Weight Crystal or sacrificing stats by letting some sailors go.

PRE-PATCH it was very convinient to do activities I mentioned above, even with Volante, but currently POST-PATCH? Looks like you should have Carrack Advance/Balance with Blue Gear if you want to think about doing them OR you force yourself to constantly swap Sea Crystals which can be pretty annoying in the long run. 

Imagine swapping the hardest treasure to get - Ebenruth's Nol - the Best in Slot Sea Crystal - for a Sea Crystal that gives for example 600 LT of weight limit, because otherwise you cannot afford doing double Hakoven in a single run. That is the disaster.

I would be glad to see a slight buff for the weight limits of all the Carracks OR a slight nerf for Bartering Goods.

Also, I do understand that not each type of the carrack is a specialist in everything, but It is quite frustrating not being able to do things that were possible in the past without stripping the potential of the ship (sacrificing Speed in this case).

Carrack Volante, full blue +10 with 5 T4 pirate parrots, 65 euro skin, and weight crystal I get just above 21k LT
That is just enough to carry 10 innocent sailors and do 3x6 T5 runs.
Doing so, leaves me with 2 empty inventory slots in my ship, aka it's nearly entirely full. So I wouldn't be able to do a 4th T5 run even if I had the LT for it.

Obviously this is an exception though because every other trade tier is stackable, so inventory slots is neglectable.

But yeah this just comes to show that you need a maxed out ship and a thick ass wallet to be able to efficiently barter.
