My Mystic Opinion:

I have been playing Mystic for quite a while now but with all the increase in damage, accuracy and evasion crystals/lightstones and the new classes coming out like drak, woosa and maegu its clear that the Mystic class is heavily underperforming

Awakening: This is probably one of if not the worst pvp class specs in the entire game as its only purpose is to exist try to cc and vacuum and nothing else. If you put a geared mystic against any other tuvala class while it may take forever the mystic will not be able to kill as it has no damage. The shard system already makes her a bit harder for newer players to just pick up but it feels unrewarding for those who are able to manage shards properly.

Succession: Succession while a step in the right direction to me also feels underwhelming when you compare it to the super classes like the ones mentioned above. Mystic feels like it hasn't had a change outside of a bugfix since its rework 2 years ago and if it had an indepth look at its bruiser potential its very clear to see that damage wise it just doesn't stack up. Drakania can do exactly what a mystic can + heal itself and do well in group fights. 

It just feels like this class has been tossed to the side and that is why everyone is rerolling which is sad because I personally love Mystics kit and it is a very enjoyable class to play but it just seems too gear reliant and like its been pushed to only being a meme evasion tank cc bot instead of being a bruiser like striker. Striker has been getting so many buffs and changes and gets to keep good damage while Mystic suffers. Even recent changes like +9 eva to spiral cannon yet no +9% to spiral torpedo even though it serves the same purpose.

Just take a big indepth look at both specs and see this class needs buffs and fast or its just not going to be played

Idk...for an OP Evasion class same as striker is underperforming? Right now awa mystic is better than succ in everything especially pvp

Thats not entirely true, Succ still performs better in NW and feels pretty good in the new T2 caps. Though the class can be used with evasion it's kind pointless right now with mystics already poor damage output unless your in succ and if you're running Eva succ mystic you do run into a huge accuracy problem.

I do play both specs and even prefer awakening but even with that said both specs are kind of mid in the NAs meta. Theres not a single thing that mystic does that another class doesnt already do better. 

Although i dont have the same opion about everything in OP's initial post the class is falling behind not just in damage.
Currently the class is lacking overall, She has become a jack of all trades but a master of none. Im not saying its a dead class at all but currently there has been a lot of draw backs to playing the class. We have been getting a lot of bug fixes that seem minor but realistically have been small nerfs that have built up over the last few years. A lot of are animation cancels have been taken away due to a lack of insight while bug fixing and getting changes overtime would help but seeing mystics in the patch note is relatively rare outside of one line bug fixes.

I understand that Evasion is a hot topic and is hard to counter due to the silver price but that shouldn't mean the classes that have it should be punished when its not something the players can control. Even with that said just being a evasion class doesnt make something overpowered. A lot of evasion classes just have very good kits and some are over tuned but mystic isn't one currently and hopefully never is. 

Imagine if you think this class(a class that is heavily profiting from current gear meta) is falling behind, what would you feel if you would play with an actuall bottom tier class kek

if its an "op evasion class" try playing it ;3 (mystic is  a D tier class rn there isnt something mystic can do that other classes cant and other classes do the same thing shes doing but way better and easier)

This exactly everything that was once good about mystic with the new gear/class updates can be done better with another class. 

Grabbing with protections - just play awakening ranger and go 280 ap and one shot people while having infinite iframes

tank - just play drakania or valkyrie and tank even better than a mystic can and still do more damage

evasion - look no further than our male counterpart striker who just got +9% evasion on a super armor skill that he can keep up permanently while the awakening mystic varient of that same skill doesn't get the same treatment

Ranger can't be as tanky as mystic adn not even close, also without ignore resist on her grab hers are significantly more unrealible.

That is true that the male striker is stronger than the female, "acidentally" male classes always end up being stronger...

Awakening Mystic has never meant to be a DPS class. It's an omega tank who's there to appy a debuff bar longer than my last hair on my head.

Succession isn't overwhelming. If you think it is, I suggest you to play awakening Berserk and learning the class, and if you tell it wasn't overwhelming, then I don't know.

Overall, Mystic is good the way she is. She doesn't need to be what some class are actually. If you don't enjoy her, maybe you're on the wrong class.
