Dear PA: you just did something amazing, out of the blue!
Remember how, 6 months ago, you cursed us to have our horse appear in the worst of places after a quest was completed? It was the absolute pits. I had to do the Haso (LoML) questline horseless just to stay sane. Haven't quested since. Also, there's no reason to quest anymore, but that's a whole 'nuther issue....
But here! Look! You actually gve us what we wanted! And I immediately did what I wanted to so badly months ago. You let me live a dream. To play the game I love the way I love to play it, not the way you force me to play it. I can be freer now. As an American, wow, that makes me really happy.
So, for my Christmas wishlist, I want a toggle to turn off the changing soundtreack music in areas and just have them play the one proper to them looping over and over.
If I want to get tired of music that's proper to an area, that's my decision, and there's a toggle for that. Not a one-size-fits-all "fix" that makes me want to tear my hair out when I hear war music in peaceul areas, or country-side music in towns, or funeral music of Keplan playing in Calpheon farms, etc.
Also, I want a toggle to let me hear my characters let forth their battle cries all the time in battle. Nothing is lamer than a Musa activating Tiger Blade voiceless. But, I never use Tiger Blade anyway because it's a useless skill, even more so after today's patch, were every attack was buffed except it. It was weaker to begin with, but now...... and that's for another topic..... But, still, I want to hear my characters all the time. I love their voices. I know some people hate this game's music and sounds, but I love them. And I want to hear them properly played.
These are the main ones that kill me...... I'd like to undo so many changes that you've crammed down our throats with toggles, but that's rather unrealistic, but these two toggles that I desire would work quite easily.
Give us toggles to let us have the gaming experiece we want.
Stop the one-size-fits-all nonsense.
And thanks for starting down the right path.
Thanks so much for actually helping us, PA!
