I don't know details about this anti cheats, but I understood that it has access to personal data from the PC. I didn't understand much from their post.
Can someone give me more details?
Do you agree with this change?
"
It is a security module that thoroughly protects the user's personal information and only searches for unauthorized programs that have not been approved during operation. "
..
basically doesn`t mean it takes your personal info. Because that would not be "protecting" these.
So there is a serious concern about privacy violations and violations of EU law.
If anyone claims that this is impossible, I remind you that Google has already been fined several times in the EU for such practices.
ps. I would prefer to know exactly what data this program collects
There`s a good chance they collect nearly no really relevant data. The data they can collect when you buy some pearls with the wrong payment method is much more relevant!

ha ha ha you are so worried about your data that you ignore the fact that Facebook, Twitter, Google and your internet provider already have it and the worst thing is that you agreed to give it to them when using the internet
Correct but its more intrusive... Xigncode we already had version 3 idk why PA acting like its not the same xigncode lmao
From what i can remember it was actually meant to detect VPNs not actually be a anti cheat by how it was built. Thats what i remember at least.
The thing is it never looked at PIDs originally so it wasnt detecting what was actually running , but instead was scanning what was on the system an what was clicked on an doing scans on said files(was even checking files a program should never be near windows registry for the actual OS)was sending the information back to xigncode who then forwarded any unusual activity to the implementer or fully stopped the program for said device.
Where as most anti cheats look at process identifications and check other information but not actually log key inputs an so-on where as xigncode some people reverse engineered it (hence you can find the ways to by pass it and found above information) found alot of things that were collected that shouldnt of been including that it was collecting lots of data that it had no right to access. This is why its a security problem also it worked this way on many implementations. The main issue is how they handle that data after sending it to the company who implemented it, xigncode doesnt disclose this info at all
The part i should of emphasised as i thought was general knowledge an forgot to mention , xigncode also cant be removed with out removing it from registry and from the file its allocated an still runs when the game is uninstalled otherwise....
Guess on top of all this comes with peoples CPUs overheating heard from not just amd users , hearing them from intel users to... Good job PA
Overheating being hitting tj max , well also thermal throttling on some setups... Which a couple of the people i talked to told me that prime 95 , aida64 stress tests arent causing these odd temperature increases...
Aida stres test is taking my 7800x3d in 72 degree max when i start Bdo i get 80 85 max wth .....

There's a post regarding AMD cpu's getting record temps and bricking people's PC in another post

This is what happens when the soft lock(in reality was down clocking cpus with this load)from perma boosting isnt being detected, its what prime95 did with avx instructions causing cpus to have higher temps an cause significant degrading to actually bricking cpus in the 4th gen era of intel, basically with xigncode its making cpus go past the clock speed that was designated for that type of load.
For people who want to research it look up" prime 95 overheating bricking intel 4th gen ", yes the down clock is still used today an also used on amd ,do a prime 95 test an watch your boost clocks should be lower than your base clock can compare to cinebench, not sure if aida 64 uses the sane instruction set . Xigncode is by passing these clock speed limits probably because they arent using avx but a different instruction set that causes the same type of load.
Tera used xigncode. The community produced a bypass in a few hours, since nobody wanted that garbage on their PC.
Xigncode has struck me ever since as a lousy anticheat that's easy for cheaters to bypass and makes games run worse for legitimate players when it isn't accidentally banning them after picking up their mouse/keyboard drivers as a false positive.
I wonder, why the switch? Did people complain about EAC?
