Look, I'm getting really tired of seeing all this annoying flashy popups that are completely irrelevant and interrupting my activities.

Really, really tired and annoyed, to a point when I serously consider actually doing anything in this "game".

What is the grand idea of smaming players with all this b/s? There must be some "clever" psychologial trick, like to "engage" me into some activity keeping in game, or induce "fear of missing out"? Or is it just pure incompetence and tragic failure to hear feedback from players/customers?

I used to think a lot and came to a conclusion that only monthly subscription based games are worth playing.

Because paying give a right to complain and a mean to actually force the company to do changes instead of just ignoring all feedback altogether.

15$ is not a big money, its only several cups of coffee per month! Its only 3 bigmacs, approximately, I may be wrong though, but you get the idea. I cannot imagine a person who has a high-end computer and access to the Internet that cant afford 15 bucks per month.

While Free-to-play model is faulty by design, because the company is not a charity, they have to make money somehow out of their product, pay salary to devs, engineers, management, pr, ceo's etc, and still make profit. How will they make profit out of "free" product? They will let players in, announce "complataly optional" cash shop, heavy rigged RNG, then make playstyle of "free" players miserable to a point when they snap and swipe to buy "conveniences" that should come with base game, like Weight/Maids/Pets/Storage/anything-else.

Thats just the beginning. At least they try a bit by removing the worker spam but I didn't mind that. Be in a guild tho and have 2 dudes enhancing reblath for an hour a day and theres nothing you can do to stop it but leave guild. Like Tuvala spam combat/lifeskill level spam naru spam at least you know will end at some point but reblath can go on forever. People complain about spam then they add more like a peddler is about to move or arrived at a new location event. I don't need to see any of it and would love to control it all instead be forced to see duo rebath tri reblath tet reblath duo reblath duo reblath thru my entire time bartering.

make playstyle of "free" players miserable

It's funny to always read that line from people suggesting a monthly subscription model.

Let me ask you, have you tried playing BDO without spending any money? Probably not, if I had to guess. In fact, most people are iducated to take shortcuts through the cash store without trying the "free" route because it must be "so bad". Then they get spoiled by those shortcuts and can't go back because taking a single step more for something is unacceptable and they give in to every money grab PA throws in their face.

BDO defnetly does has his one share of true p2w items, like all CP related stuff, lifeskill outfits for cooking, processing and farming, sailor slots and some more. There is no way of obtaining these in-game and they give a huge adventage over f2p players. We need more ppl to step up and complain about these!

Yes, I played some time without swiping, and it was miserable. I felt heavily restricted at any activity, pressure released a little bit after I bought all Weight from PS, now I dont have to run back and forth to unload whatever I grinded or gathered. Weight is set up so low on purpose - to force players to buy for real money.

Anybody who says free players can play at same level with p2w players are hypocrites or shills.

You absolutely must buy things from PS if you want to a) be competitive and b) actually achieve something in realistic time frame and dont have spare lifetime earning 50M per gathering session per day while aiming to buy PEN Manos ring for 50+ billion.

The goal is to keep us as far away from our goals for as long as possible so we keep "playing" the "game".

I'm "playing" 24/7, 663 Energy, 432 CP, huge worker empire, gathering and cooking all time I got per day, and my income is restricted by ~250M/day for imperial delivery. At this rate I could afford TET Manos ring in 25B/250M = 100 days. And I want whole set so it will be 600 days of everyday. 2 years or everyday "playing" and its not even BiS! This is ridiculous. And all this happens while constantly being spammed with all that b/s on screenshot.

I could submit a ticket with demands and cancel subscription until my demands are met, but PA already got my money, they dont need me anymore, so they will just ignore my complains.

Duding capitalism, a company will react in only ONE case - if something affects its income/profit. I already provided all profit I coul to them so they will not do anything. Even if I leave, they lose nothing, because I dont generate income for them.

This is Pearl Abyss, this is Black Desert online.

Saturday, during Black Shadow, one of the Calamity boss pop-ups popped up OVER top of Black Shadow's next move. Myself and the rest of the train from the specific server just had to leave it after the first kill and join another train. It was pretty annoying.

The pop-up need to be smaller and not overlap other pop-ups... OOOOR just do what we ALL want --> Give up control over pop-ups entirely. I don't care about the freakin' whale or most of the world bosses.

If enough people would cancel subscription for 1 month (not necessarily exactly 1 month of not entering the game, only the fact of canceling) - this onscreen spam would automagically disappear at nearest maintenance. It happened in WoW after patch 7.1.5, it happened in Eve Online during Jita 4:4 burn, but in BDO we have no means to deliver the message to the company using only language they understand. Pleas are ignored.

I agree we should have full control. Some of these alerts are useful to me from time to time, but I don't understand why we can control only a portion of notifications and not everything. Clearly they know people want that control. Most of these things don't trigger engagement at all for those who are just not interested in them. And who cares if Random Johnny Five just got an infinite potion? Don't know the guy. Don't care. In the slightest.

Additionally, I don't know what's up with the alerts we get on the chat header from time to time, but please stop it. These cannot be disabled for as far as I'm aware and seeing an annoying [Check out Warrior: bla bla Web Link Here] while I don't play warrior, nor am interested in ever doing so, adds nothing of value. Just frustration.

Oh and for this forum: "your post contains words you cannot use" - great, tell us WHICH words they are. I need to play a guessing game just to post something, I didn't swear or anything.

EDIT: I had the plus symbol instead of the word "plus". THAT was the issue?! Really?! Why on Earth is a plus symbol not allowed???????
