So today, I was contemplating opening a couple of premium outfits boxes (that I got back during Christmas events) that I had in storage to melt into crons. They BOTH are "Choose your premium outfit" but I realized one's description didn't list all the classes available. Then I read it more closely... I was like holy shit! It was a choose your premium outfit box TIMES TEN!!! The "x10" was below the title and I didn't even see it until now. :D

back when we were drawing for stuff, I got a cron x10 box. My boy got 2000 raw and my x10 ended up only being 1600. 10 outfits tho, nice.

I told my wife about it and she was like "Oh, that's nice!" But I didn't think she understood the scope of things. She plays other games that has skins like fortnite so I turned my monitor to her and pulled up the Pearl Shop and showed her how much a premium outfit cost. She was then like "Oh....OH! WOW!" and I was like "I KNOW, RIGHT!?"

Why does it feel that these celebrations get lamer over time?  Is it just that I've been around for a while and the newness and charm has worn off?

I think it's just because you've been around. All celebrations become mediocre when repeated year after year... Christmas, birthdays, new years, etc. I celebrate finishing goals and not set dates. It seems to make doing anything... LESS mediocre, i suppose.
