Comments: If you look at the cost of crafting Imperial Alchemy boxes, 95% of them cost more than you get in silver (with 2k Alchemy Mastery!). That's the sad reality. And since imperial alchemy is coupled with imperial cooking, lifecrafters who would at least make the most "profitable" alchemy boxes won't make them, since you can only turn in imperial alchemy or cooking boxes.

Like with imperial cooking there hasn't been a single update to the Imperial delivery prices in 5 years, while the games have seen a 6x inflation in silver. Nowadays, this content feels more like a daily chore to do as a Lifeskiller than something worth doing!

Suggestions: First of all, you have to decouple Imperial Alchemy and Imperial Cooking. To make it profitable again, allow us to turn in 1 box for every 1 CP. Improve the base price of imperial delivery boxes and increase the mastery bonus we receive.

Possible Problems:

With both of these improvements, alot of players will be attracted again to do Imperial Alchemy. In the past we could see that, already a handful of ppl can drive up the market price of Alchemy Ingredients. PA tried to rise the cap on elixir prices to make them more profitable to make, but this only resulted in the rise of Alchemy Ingredients prices overall resulting in even less profit than before.

Possible Solutions:

If PA decouples imperial alchemy and cooking, they will need to massively increase the supply of alchemy ingredients. Since alchemy also requires many rare ingredients that can't be actively gathered, such as traces, powders, fruits, spirit leaf, bloody tree knots, monk branches and more. The only way to get rare ingredients is to buy them at Central Market, so we need a way to get them when they're out of stock!

I suggest to add new alchemy recipes:

1x Magical Lightstone Crystal + 10x Logs  ->  ?x Spirit leaf, Monk branch, bloody tree knots, old tree bark

1x Magical Lightstone Crystal + 10x Ores  ->  ?x diffrent typs of powders

1x Magical Lightstone Crystal + 10x Saps  ->  ?x diffrent typs of traces

1x Magical Lightstone Crystal + 10x Special crops  ->  ?x diffrent typs of fruits

The third option to increase alchemy imperial profit (besdies decoupling alchemy and cooking imperials, and making imperials 1turning:1cp) is to increase the "Extra Profit" you get from mastery.

For the 5 plant byproducts you get quite a lot from lumbering now after the changes, and for the powders you can use Mysterious Catalyst to obtain them. At least on NA, 3 of the powders are within min price, and 3 of the plant byproducts. With plant pyproducts being gatherable and dynamic catalyst exchanges for the powders, I don't see the issue with supply.

Maybe you underestimate the scale of Imperial delivery.

Let's look at the numbers, in EU about 5mil Meals alon for guru boxes get sold (from BDOlytics). Lets say you need on  avarage 22 meals and ppl have on avarage 400 CP, then you get 5mil / (22*200) about 1200 players buying meals. If we calc it into Alchemy boxes, then 1200*22*200 about 3mil elixirs (thats with the current 2:1 CP per box).

If we look at the daily volume of elixirs in EU, we probably won't even reach 1mil elixirs sold. This in combination with a new Imperial Alchemy would attract many ppl to powerlevel Alchemy which will stress the market even more.

So if I had to bet my money, I'd bet on a completely bought out alchemy market with almost all the ingredients at max price within a few days if they implement the suggestion I made without adressing the supply.

The recent update with the merger of fruits/traces has changed alchemy. Imperial delivery for alchemy is sorely needed since the profitability of alchemy has fallen.

Imperial Alchemy and Cooking have not been updated ever since inflation exploded.  This should be addressed.

Since they're doing the current cooking/alchemy event, now is a great time to do this.
