Rework the Progression Pass

Comments: The Progression Pass at how it's implemented is at best a bad Tutorial. It literally takes you longer to travel to the the places where you need to complete the objective than doing the objective itself. The Progression Pass is bloated with tedious, boring quests and objective no normal BDO player would do. To call this an progession pass is a bad joke. On top of that, you get showered with random rewards that clumb your inventory full.

A Progression Pass should show you how far you progressed into the game and how much BDO has to offer. I see a lot of players complaining that there's nothing to do, while at the same time they haven't touched 95% of the content. There is a lack of in-game incentive to explore new content, which a well-designed Progression Pass could address.

Suggestions: Completely rework all the objectives from the ground up to reflect the progression a normal player goes through in BDO.

Reward players with items that are relevant to the tasks they have completed. So if you don't like ocean content, you aren't forced to build a boat to get rewards since the rewards are only relevant for ocean content. In no way is this new system forcing any player to interact with content they really don't like to do.

For example, after killing 30k Monsters at Blood Wolf Settlement, reward us with 20 Blood Wolf’s Oath.

No ty. Their progression pass was for newish players and pretty quick for ok rewards for lil work.

Your idea is just work and flawed af. Is it retroactive? What if someone gets the full piece before 30k mobs does that stay incomplete? Why you forcing gatherers down specific paths instead of generic gathers of their choice. 90 percent the player base don't touch ocean content now they gotta build a boat.

I know you think you are full of good ideas but even the mega thread you gonna keep updating has only a couple decent ideas and some flat out terrible ones. Like I already read those threads and most died with little interaction at all.

Like I said, it's a very basic concept. Maybe I update the post to clarify my Idea a bit more.

All the rewards for building a boat will be relevant only for boat content. So if you don't like ocean content, you literally gain nothing to complete these objecitves. In what way is this system flawed?

Thanks for giving feedback on this one. I probably didn't write it out clearly enough.

If there's not much discussion, then either there's nothing to discuss and my idea is great or the second option, which is probably true, just doesn't interest people.

We already have way too many crap systems in the game that gives random rewards, we don't need more, just delete it, it's an old, obsolate feature.
