Pretty sure when blackstars got released the item was limited so players wouldn't get pen blackstars within a day of playing.

Look at the turo heart, for example. On the first day they had a "base" price, and then and forever price is minimum.

Mass of pure magic has such a high drop that everyone who needs them has plenty of them.

No offence, but that's such a weird take. If people are sitting on thousands of them, then why would they not sell it.
So what if they would be min listed, you don't know how much PA would set the price. If each was 250k minlisted then i am pretty sure most people would sell them on the market place.

And no, just because you sit on thousands means other people are sitting on thousands. In 1 enhancing session i can blow through thousands of them...

This is a thing, I think most of us are sitting on quite a lot of those in our storages. Listing it on the market would help, but making it useful for something else than it currently is would too, so that we don't run into the forever min listen problem we see above. I don't know, add it as an ingredient to third guaranteed jetina accesory, or as an ingredient to crystals, taekbaek belt, that type of stuff like that. 

With the black stone simplification we probably will have the same black stones for fallen god weapons as well as for armors, so ppl might hit a shortage while others could sell some imo

No, I won't sell them for 250k because someone doesn't want play and drop them. A fair price would be 2.5m. Remember, no one is forcing anyone to buy them, you can get them yourself.
Everyone who has a network of production nodes has thousands of them because mass of pure magic occurs in combination with trace, which can only be obtained in these nodes.
This will change on Wednesday because all traces will be unified, so there will be a major reconstruction of the nodes network.

I have been saying for a long time that we should trade absolutely everything, but PA forces us to get some things ourselves. The problem is that some players do not want to acquire these items, and others have excess of them and would like to sell them (but for a good price).

Let's look at e.g. infinity potions, is it good or bad that they can be traded? I don't know, but it's probably good. If someone wants to play in zones where they parts drop and has an excess of them and can produce more than one, they should be able to sell them. And if there is someone who does not want to get them because they would rather just buy them, they should also have this opportunity. So everyone is happy.

Conclusion: it should be the same with mass of pure magic. But as I mentioned: players have thousands of them, so the market will be flooded and the price will always be minimal, so where is the profit from sales?

you're not losing anything if the players would be able to sell them, no one cares if you hoard yours, you're not forced to sell them
