Tagging characters and Copying gear should be separate ingame functions.

I do logically understand why tagged characters cannot trade, but I do not understand why tagged characters and Copied gear HAVE to be on the same two connected characters.

Make GEAR COPY characters separate from tagged characters. 

I do everything on my main character for ingame immersion for instance, and gear copyfunction as such is basically all but locked for my character as I do not want to lose the ability to trade and do imperial delivery on my MAIN character.

Please PEARL ABYSS developers, could you please rethink/redesing how system is working for this feature?

People already abuse tagged characters for additional weight and other shennanigans via relogging and such.... maybe you should allow trade and imperials on characters, but make it absolutely impossible to log on the paired character in any other way while one of them has trade/imperial items.

suggestion: lets say we Tag character A and B. for instance if character A has trade goods, you cannot by any method (character selection even) use character B until characters As inventory is empty of any trade items. This would allow us to use item copy via existing system. OR totally remake the system somehow.
