[Repeat] Season Special Gift - BUGGED

With the introduction of "[Repeat] Season Special Gift" in last weeks patch, a giant question mark appeared.

For those that don't know, if you create a new account today you're limited to two season characters. Old accounts are limited to 5. So this last patch has me scratcing my head. We always assumed this was intended. But do the devs even know new accounts and old accounts are capped on season character creation still? I'm reporting this as a bug so that we get an official answer to this. If we're intended to have "[Repeat] Season Special Gift" then why do we have a cap on season character creation/graduation? Why was it ever capped to being with?!

It is capped because new season character tickets are added over time. The "Repeat" gift is mostly for older players that have taken part in all of the seasons so far, so their season gift tickets arent wasted. A new player should not focus on the 100 stacks, as the other gifts (Capo, Perillia) are far more useful for them. And since the repeat gift is just the same as the other stacks before, it's hardly something to miss out on.

I respectfully disagree.

Having new players on equal footing benefits all of us.

1. From a company perspective it increases player retention. The more alts they make the more invested they are. This is a win.

2. This benefits guild recruitment. And guess what, it benefits guild retention too.

3. The word "repeat" implies unlimited creation of season alts (a good thing). If that's not the case it should be renamed.

4. BDO makes more money from selling character slots.

5. BDO makes more money from selling costumes.

6. BDO makes more money from selling horse whistles and support items.

There is NO downside to unlimited season character creation. None. Zip. Nadda. This is a win for the company, guilds, the player community and the individual player.

I've been here off and on since launch. This doesn't benefit me personally. But my guild members feel left out. Alienated. Something need to be said. The term "repeat" implies something and needs to be changed. Hence why I reported it as a bug. It's lost in translation.

Honestly I agree on the point that season characters should be unlimited at this point... Starting a normal character is incredibly restricting at this point in time, and season gear / gifts should be the norm for any new starting char. But imo that doesnt make it a bug.

The [Repeat] being misleading I can see, even if personally I did not understand it that way (perhaps because I knew the context since I saw a similar suggestion to this on the forums before). Imo they should consolidate all the 100 Valks rewards from seasons into this [Repeat] option, and then call it somewhat differently, and unlock it only after getting all the other rewards, to show that it is simply a remainder to be used when you created more season chars than there are important gifts, or something.
