With this new change in life skills, Where did my family and life points go?  I went from 14570 or higher in family fame to 12194.  I went for 4152 or higher in life fame to 1759.

Why would this change/ What are the calulation? It took me forever to get those points. Not a happy old man.  please explain?  I know some of my other guild mates are not happy either.

everyone wanted the new system. don't whine that you could now play with any character and do lifeskill.
you're out of luck if you only play one character and only concentrate on one with lifeskill.

Preaching to the choir my man.

I can understand the need to integrate the lifeskills across the family, but not all of us are happy that their solution just straight up deleted YEARS of effort by some people with absolutely nothing to show for or make up for it.

They changed the value, so you didn't lose anything. You're getting the same money/day. If you're just upset the number went down, get over it.

Yes, because everyone who spent effort over the last 6 years on purposely raising lifeskill fame did it soley for the purpose of getting the silver equivilent of an extra 6-7 seconds of grinding per day....

You "cheated" the system (like most players, including me) and you lost your "fake" life fame, and as you can see, I even gained 254 life fame.

You need 901 life fame for the highest reward and you have it.
You need 7000 family fame for the highest reward and you have it.
So where's the problem?

This has got to be a mistake or error. No way should people loose their progress on pushing the life fame numbers. Get outta here with your 'fake' life fame rubbish.

I also lifeskilled on multiple alts with the aim of raising the number as high as I could and likewise to OP, I also lost fame points.

People play this game for different reasons and none of them are invalid. That goes for pushing housefame numbers, grinding to the highest level possible or doing a million quests. Regardless of what goal someone is working on, straight up deleting progress feels like a kick in the teeth.

They also deleted life quests so those who did those on multiple alts have lost hundreds towards their total quest count. Thankfully I always kept to combat side + main quests but still - its not a good feeling!

The calculation changed for every player, so if this number got reduced for you, it's the same for any player who did like you. Every point you had on your char was integrated in this new number.

The only drawback lies in the number of quest, and for players who kept doing a precise lifeskill on a guru 50 character. But these points were lost even before the change, for this last case.

Everyone knows that getting a few Pro1 that give you more life fame than advancing from g1 to g2 is much faster.
Only those who massively exploited this dependence to increase their life fame "lost".

Even I achieved 901 life fame this way when PA increased fame rewards, and as you can see, despite this trick with Pro1, I still achieved later twice as much (over 1800).
