After using abyssal advance in pre awaken to apply self buffs before engaging in combat it's common to quickly return to dragonblood, tap q to receive the +20dp bufff before engaging combat. This doesnt apply quickly however and seems clunky, especially when there is an urgency to return to the battle. 

I believe the self buff is abyssal advance>F>C>>Shift+F>Q. The animation for the q block comes out smoothly however it seems to take longer than expected for the dp buff to apply. Sometimes if you attempt to take off too quickly after self buffing to enter combat you can end up thinking the buff was applied but actually wasn't.

If I remember correct it's not a bug but you have to do d+c go swat or if it was a+c..that makes you able to get into block faster by swapping one of the sides instead of just c
