The Definitive Horse Death Reset Guide

Introduction to this Guide

Not many people know that it is still possible to reset the death count to your horse back to zero. This guide is meant to serve as a complete guide to do exactly that. If you have further questions after following the guide, please feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to answer them.

1. Does horse death matter?

In the past, horse death actually mattered, but it no longer has any ill effect but if you're like me and you don't like that death count to exist on your beautiful T10 horse, there is still a way and it does not cost any pearls or loyalty to do so!

2. Is there a pearl item?

Ah, but there was a a pearl item, yes? Of course, but that item was taken out of the game many years ago. And so, if you find a guide mentioning it, it's a very old guide and irrelevant.

3. Guide to resetting horse death

Now that we've gotten some of the history out of the way, let's get down to business. There is a weekly quest that you can accept that will give you an item to reset your horse's death count.

The name of the quest: [Weekly] A Special, Healthy Meal for Horses

Obtainable Item: Rich Nutritious Carrot Meal

Location: Heidel, Vanacil (Stable Keeper at the North)

Level Requirement: 50+

4. Completing the quest

Step 1:

You will need to go to Heidel with a level 50+ character and visit the stable keeper who likes to sleep at night. His name is Vanacil and is located at the northern part of Heidel.

Step 2:

Accept the quest, [Weekly] A Special, Healthy Meal for Horses

Step 3:

You will now need to craft the following:

Quantity Required

Carrot Confit

COOKING (utensil)

2x Special Carrot (200 total)

6x Mineral Water (600 total)

3x Lump of Raw Sugar (300 total)

2x Salt (200 total)

4x Cinnamon (400 total)

Special Carrot Juice

Cooking (utensil)

1x Special Carrot

3x Corn Flour

3x Sugar

4x Mineral Water

Produces 5 ~ 20 each

Note: If you are lucky, you can craft 10x the amount but it will use 10x the ingredients. If you're not careful and you have too many ingredients for Special Carrot Juice, you can easily make hundreds if not thousands. Carrot Confit is always going to be crafting one at a time unless you get lucky and craft 10, but again, you will consume 10x the ingredients.

Step 4:

Once crafted, you can return to the Stable Keeper, Vanacil, and submit both the Carrot Confit and Special Carrot Juice

Step 5:

Now that you have obtained the Rich Nutritious Carrot Meal, you can find it in your Pearl Items inventory. Stable your horse and then you will see a menu item to Reset Death Count. Click on it and you will be able to reset the death count of your horse.

That's it! Now you have a horse with zero death!
